About

Lights up, mic on. Dubloon the Game is a voice game show, hosted by a presenter who cheers your best takes, winces at your worst and always has a tip for the next one. MOVIE SCENE DUB A scene plays on the studio monitor. The host tells you whose line is next, counts you in, and you dub it with your own voice. Every take is scored on timing, pacing and delivery, and the score rolls up on the board while the stars stamp down one by one. • Line by line, with the words and the character on screen • A score breakdown that shows which part to work on • Watch your finished dub, then share it as a video SOUND IMITATION The host plays a sound: a cat, a rooster, a siren, a laser, a burp. You copy it. Dubloon judges your rhythm, pitch, tone and length against the real thing, and the LED screen lays your take over the original so you can see exactly where you drifted. • Dozens of sounds across animals, horns and alarms, cartoon effects and human noises • Up to three stars on every sound, and a level select that shows which ones you have nailed COMPETE ON GAME CENTER Your stars and points go straight to Game Center. • Five leaderboards: the whole show, Sound Imitation, Movie Scene Dub, stars collected, and a weekly race that restarts every Monday • Nine achievements, from your first take to a hundred stars • Tap the trophy on the stage to see where you stand A REAL GAME SHOW Spotlights sweep the set, the crowd cheers a three-star take, confetti falls, and the sad trombone plays when it goes wrong. Optional evening reminders name a sound to try, and remind you before the weekly race ends. FOUR SCENES TO START WITH Camp Rules (Sprite Fright, CC BY 4.0), Awesome in Space (Tears of Steel, CC BY 3.0) and A Kindred Spirit (Sintel, CC BY 3.0) are cut from Blender's open movies. Stuck Up is cut from The Outsider, a 1951 classroom film that is in the public domain in the United States. Each scene names the film and its terms on its own screen. Beyond those four, the game does not include or host any films: you can import dub packs you have the right to use from Files, AirDrop or any share sheet. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your recordings stay on your phone. No account, no sign-up, no ads. The app collects anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, never the contents of a recording. WHAT IT COSTS Every scene and every sound is open. Your first seven takes are free, counted across both games. Dubloon Pro removes the limit, as a one-time purchase or a subscription.
