NOT A GOOD APP

When sizing based upon airflow, the result gives random fractional duct sizes like 5.3 x 9.6; doesn’t allow even numbered duct sizes. Pretty worthless to me, even if it were free.

In this mode, the app calculates the exact duct size required to meet the specified airflow, velocity, friction, and aspect ratio of the duct. Users will typically round to the closest standard duct size that would be required. The actual duct size can also be input into the size by dimension calculator within the app to see what airflow, velocity and friction it will produce.

Does not do what it leads you to believe.

For $6.99 this app is not worth purchasing. It leads you to believe it will help you solve duct size airflow problems. IMHO, it is not worth purchasing.

This app allows users to solve for duct size required for various combinations of airflow, velocity, and friction. It can also solve for airflow, velocity, or friction given duct size as an input. The app is a digital equivalent of a ductulator tool for contractors. It will not solve airflow problems or design ducting for an entire home.

Works just like a slide rule.

When using on a system that was sized corectly per ACCA or whatever load calc program your country uses its spot on

Air flow calculator

Doesn’t work. Rip off.
Placed it my iphone max, strong internet doesn’t work !

This hvac app is the best by far. I was debating the price tag at first but am very happy with the purchase.
