The parcel that arrived yesterday has a return window. The receipt in your bag
has a warranty. Photograph either one right after you buy, the paper receipt
as readily as the order confirmation still on your screen, and DueDog files it
as a purchase with its deadlines. Contracts and penalty notices work the same
way. Every one of them has a date by which you have to decide, and almost none
of them reminds you. You confirm what the app read, the app reminds you in
time. No upload, no account.
PURCHASES
Purchases are the everyday case. The list opens on All, the most urgent
deadline first.
Photograph the paper receipt, or take a screenshot of the order page in the
shop's app and pick it from Photos. One image is enough. DueDog reads shop,
date and amount; you pick the return window and the warranty from the usual
options, and the app counts the days to the last one. The deadlines are
always your choice: the app never claims to know what the law says.
CONTRACTS
Car insurance, broadband, the gym, the router you rent. Photograph the
contract or the renewal letter, or share a PDF into the app. DueDog reads
provider, start date, renewal and notice period, works out the real cut-off
date and reminds you early enough to act: cancel, renegotiate, or let it run
on because you decided to.
FINES
Photograph the penalty notice and confirm the day it arrived. From that day
DueDog counts the days, shows the last day to pay or to challenge it, and
reminds you a week, three days and a day before. You pick the deadline from
the usual options; DueDog counts conservatively and is not legal advice.
IN UNDER A MINUTE
1. SCAN. The camera, a picture from your library, or a PDF shared from Mail
or Files. Text recognition runs for English, German and Spanish at the same
time.
2. CONFIRM. The app shows what it understood, field by field, and marks
which values came from the model. You fix whatever is off and save. Nothing
is stored without your go-ahead.
3. GET REMINDED. Reminders before the day, and an entry in your calendar if
you want one.
NOTHING LEAVES THE IPHONE
A receipt carries what you bought and what you paid; a contract carries your
name, your address, your customer number and sometimes your bank details.
DueDog sends none of it anywhere: text recognition and Apple's
on-device language model both run on the phone itself. There is no server
receiving your documents, because there is no server. No account, no
analytics, no ads, no cloud sync. The privacy label says "Data Not
Collected" because that is the only label that matches how the app is built.
Scanning, analysing, saving and being reminded all work in airplane mode.
THE AI SUGGESTS, YOU DECIDE
The model reading your document is small and runs on a phone battery. It
gets most things right and some things wrong: it can mistake the signature
date for the start date, or read the wrong total off a receipt. That is why
every result appears first as an editable suggestion and is only saved once
you confirm it. Money rides on a deadline, so the last word is always yours.
WHAT IT COSTS
Scanning, saving and the standard reminders are free, for purchases, contracts
and fines alike, with no limit and no subscription. A one-time lifetime unlock
adds the month view, which answers what runs out this month; reminder points
you set yourself; and the PDF export of your contracts and deadlines. If the
app saves you a payment you no longer wanted, you can leave a tip from the
settings. Tips are voluntary and unlock nothing.
REQUIREMENTS
DueDog needs an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, running iOS 26,
with Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings. The language model is part of
iOS, so there is nothing to download and no key to enter.
Questions or problems: support@freshlab.es. We answer in English, Spanish
and German. Please do not email us your documents; we do not need them to
help, and we would rather not have them.
