Duet

Love the app wish it had more features for free

Worse dating app

You have to pay for everything, you can’t talk to your matches without paying.

“No fake profiles” sure 🫩

The very first profile that was shown to me and I matched with turned out to be a complete catfish and it was pretty bad. I’ve read duet is one of the worst dating apps out there for scams. This is awful.

Is this a scam?

So let me guess…did I waste like 50 bucks to send likes and stuff like messages, and they aren’t able to view my messages unless they are a paying member too? If so I want a refund

Pay to Play Only

Lots of inflated numbers and “gotchas”. Don’t expect to talk to anyone without paying. Extremely pricey with a long commitment, when compared to other apps. Lots of AI/fake profiles too!

This app is bad

I paid money to subscribe, and all it shows me is people out of state with no way to change that. Really want my money back… kinda feels like a scam.

Not worth it

DO NOT waste your time, it’s got a million paywalls, you can’t even see who liked you and it’s stupid expensive

Location???

It’s awful!!! It only shows you people out of state!! I always make sure my location is accurate. But it’s showing me people in Maryland, Utah, Texas, Washington… RARELY EVER showing me anyone I. My own state. It hurts so bad talking to someone for a while and thinking they’re the one only to realize they live 17 hours away…

90% fake profiles

Literally all of the people are fake bots. I’ve matched with over 300 people in 5 days and all say the same copy paste conversation then they stop exactly at the same spot.

Skip the social media ads. There is a sea of fakes and maybe 1 out of 100 is real person.

Sad

Well…

You have to pay for basically everything. Want to see who liked you? Pay. Want to send a like to someone? Pay. Want to message a girl that you matched with? Pay. It’s disturbing, especially coming from hinge, even with its flaws

Worst dating app

Duet is the worst. I at least got matches in the beginning and everything was smooth. Even met up with someone on here, but now the app went left somehow. I stopped getting matches, and barely any views despite purchasing for premium. Not to mention duet has double charged me TWICE on both times I’ve paid for premium. Never had this is issue the 5+ years I’ve been using other dating apps. Duet is the only one that has done this. What’s more even obnoxious is the fact that duet constantly sends you multiple notifications throughout the day to get onto the app. The developers must be desperate to get activity on the app because you get deceitful notifications about a match even though you don’t have one. Also, the people I see isn’t even in my state so what’s the point? Never will I use this app again. This just might be an indicator for me to go outside lol.

turn off notifications

make this app free paying for it is stupid

A true scam

People who “liked me” were blurred and unable to be seen or contacted without paying. That’s a regular complaint everybody has, nothing new there. After 27 people who liked me and 1 organic match with someone who lives across the country just to see if we can actually message if we both match. I paid to unlock the other likes, what do you know a bunch of other people dispersed everywhere but the range of the geo filter. I see a few 30 mins away so I message them and GET THIS, I go to their profile and their location literally changes within the page refresh to another state. These are profiles who liked me before I paid. No response from those accounts btw. Disgusting practices.

No way to filter for nonbinary people.

No way to actually find people who are nonbinary despite it being an option for gender. Not inclusive.

Free plan not worth it

I made the profile, set my distance settings to 25 miles, did all the filters I needed on the free plan, and began swiping. 70% of the card stack was hidden behind Snapchat filtered photos, so not a great start. I passed through all of the people within my set 25 mile radius in about 20 swipes, then I got people anywhere from 50-450 miles away (1 or 2 states away sometimes). In fairness, the distance filter isn’t a hard stop, it says that sometimes people you see will be outside of your range, but I didn’t think by 400+ miles. The app functions like a traditional card stack swipe dating app, albeit a bit more touchy than the more popular others. I found myself accidentally swiping one way or another because I might have moved the card slightly to one side. My current “like” amount is 11, but my “view” count is 3, only 1 of which is in my “same city”. Not sure how that’s possible but OK. I can think of plenty situations set forth in the UI of this app that are intended to get me to purchase the tier above the free plan, which I understand is the whole reason behind these apps. I’m close to a very populated metropolitan area which confuses me as to why I would be seeing people from so far away given my distance constraints. I suppose you get what you pay for, although I will not be trying the paid versions as the free tier left nothing to be desired. You may have a different experience, but it’s a gamble (with all of these apps, really). The 30 minutes of setting up my profile and envisioning unearned success was enjoyable.

Worst app. It’s a scam. Expensive and Zero responses

Whoever women create a profiles they are not serious and they send likes and never respond. App make charges more bucks. Its scam. It’s better to meet offline anyone in social events. Don’t install this a

Apps like this is why dating apps no longer work

Pay way to much money to just get told you need to pay more money to have zero matches way to many questions and just a complete waste of time

Rating

Pretty good as long as you pay for premium

Expensive

This app is similar to the other apps that are outrageous pricey and it’s not even guaranteed to work, not just that but once you’re likes run out, you gotta wait or pay more, just like Tinder, they got the “gold” and “platinum premium”, most of the time it’s ppl not even in your area too
