About
What's New in DueTab
2.3.0
September 11, 2026
DueTab 2.3.0: a rebuilt document system, cents in every amount, and a new look across the app. DOCUMENTS • Every quote, receipt, work report and invoice now has its own page in a searchable ledger, with a due date, a status and an official number you can write yourself. • Mark a quote accepted or declined. Accepting moves the job to In Progress and starts counting the money as owed, and a quote nobody has accepted no longer inflates what a customer owes you. • Write a quote before the job exists, in its own currency and its own language, and take a deposit or a part payment against it. • Requesting payment now issues a receipt. The invoice is a separate step, so you can collect first and invoice once the money is in. • Edit a document in place while no money has touched it, and undo a Mark paid you did not mean. MONEY • Amounts keep their cents. Type 25.23 and every screen says 25.23, at your currency's own precision, and long figures shrink together or shorten instead of stacking or being cut off. • A cash payment now leaves the account you actually chose, so your cash box and bank balances match reality. • Money has one colour language, so what you are owed, what you owe and what is paid never look alike. AROUND THE APP • A new look: one background, a glass tab bar and headers, a rebuilt home card, and a job card you can show with or without its photo. • Settings moved off the tab bar into the home card, and Jobs, Contacts and Stock now open a search field instead of shrinking the title. • Set a job aside when it stalls and bring it back later, see how many days a job is running late, and swipe left to delete any row. • Easier to read: larger, higher-contrast text, figures that no longer shrink below the size you chose, and category, payment method and account pickers that stay two rows tall and remember your last choice. FIXED • Crashes: an app that opened to empty screens on a fresh install, every money screen failing in some device languages, declining the camera permission, and edit screens closing on you. • Live updates no longer go quiet after you switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. • A deposit counted twice, eight places where a typed separator moved the decimal point, and eleven ways the document flow reported the wrong thing to a customer. Thank you for using DueTab! Questions or ideas? We'd love to hear from you.
