About

Choose your location. Find your buddy. Log your dive. DuikRadar is a free app for divers. Find a dive site, find a buddy by certification, place and date, and keep your logbook, with the depth profile from your dive computer. DIVE SITES • More than 4,800 dive sites in more than 100 countries, including more than 500 wrecks. From the Oosterschelde to the Red Sea. • Search by name, by town or around your current location, in a list or on the map. • Each site shows its depth, type of dive, access, parking, the logged dives you may see and the dive centres nearby. • Filter by distance, wreck, cave, mine, tech, DPV, shore or boat, maximum depth, experience and facilities. In the Benelux you also see the driving distance. • More than 19,000 dive centres, shops and clubs, with contact details and services. • Missing a site, or is something wrong? Propose a dive site or report an error. IMPORT YOUR DIVES • From your dive computer's export file: UDDF (most dive computers, Scubapro through Subsurface), Garmin FIT, Shearwater Cloud (including "Export account" in the app on your phone) and Shearwater XML, Suunto FIT, SML or JSON. Also inside a zip file. • Share the file with "Open in DuikRadar" or pick it in the app, several at once if you like. • First you see a summary: how many dives, which are already in your logbook and which dive site each dive is linked to. Nothing is saved until you tap Import. • DuikRadar links your dives to a dive site in the catalogue by GPS position or by name. If the site is not in it, you get a private dive site that only you see. You can change every link. YOUR LOGBOOK • Depth, time, gases, temperature and the full depth profile come from your file. • The profile chart shows depth, water temperature, gas switches, fast ascents and, when your dive computer records it, the deco ceiling. Slide across the chart to read any moment. • Or log by hand, with gases, visibility, current, configuration and notes, and up to 10 photos per dive. • Share a dive card through Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp or the share sheet. FIND A BUDDY • Search buddy calls by place, date and certification, from any agency. • Post your own call for one dive site or an area, on a fixed day or a range of dates, with depth, gas, certification, group size and DPV. • The organizer accepts or declines each request. Then you plan the dive in the group chat, with text and photos. • Follow other divers, see their dives in your feed, like them and comment. • Notifications for new chat messages, followers, likes and comments, without the text of the message. CERTIFICATIONS • Choose your agency (PADI, SSI, CMAS, NELOS, GUE, TDI / SDI, IANTD, RAID or another), your training and your card, and add a photo of the card. • Card not in the list? Tap "My card isn't listed" and type its name. • DuikRadar checks every certification before it shows as verified. The photo of your card stays private. • Keep your dive insurance too. You get a reminder before a certification or insurance expires. YOU CHOOSE WHO SEES YOUR DIVES • Your profile is private or public. With a private profile you approve each follower. • Who sees your dives is set to Private, Followers or Public. Until you change it, your dives are private. • Your GPS position, depth profile and dive-computer details always stay visible to you only. • You can block divers and report messages, comments, dives and profiles. • Your data is stored in the EU (Ireland). You download your data or delete your account yourself in the app. GOOD TO KNOW • DuikRadar is free and works in Dutch and English. • You must be 16 or older to create an account. Without an account you can see where the dive sites are. • DuikRadar does not replace training, dive planning or a briefing. Check each other's certification and experience before you get in the water together.
