It’s deeply disappointing that Iranian users are blocked from taking the Duolingo English Test. Students shouldn’t lose access to educational opportunities simply because of their nationality or ID. Duolingo stands for accessible education—please reconsider this policy and support all learners equally.

I rate it 4.9 since the elo matches are so unfair and the difference between the elo is 546 against 598 and if it was like a 0 to ten elo difference, it would be fine but this is an u-n-f-a-I-r matchup.😓☠️💀

I was doing math and there was a typo, for example blank divided by twelve equals 4. But it was actually 12 divided by blank equals 4. other than that the game is GREAT!

I am deeply disappointed by Duolingo’s decision to block Iranian users from taking the Duolingo Test. This policy punishes students and academic applicants based solely on their nationality and identification documents, regardless of their individual circumstances.
For years, Duolingo promoted accessibility and equal educational opportunities. Denying access to an English proficiency test for an entire group of students contradicts those values. Many Iranian students rely on this exam because it is accepted around the world. Restricting students from pursuing academic and professional opportunities because of where they were born is unfair and discouraging.
I hope Duolingo reconsiders this decision and works toward a solution that supports learners rather than excluding them.

Discriminating and racist
In good conscious I can rate this app anything above 1 star! In the year 2026 Duolingo have gone ahead and decided it can ban people from using the app and taking their tests based on nationality! The app that has the mission statement of “to develop the best education in the world and make it universally available.” now has decided some people based on their nationality and their origin of ID documents can not use this app! How ridiculous and gross!! So some people are not white enough for them to be considered eligible???

Discrimination
This company has been an absolute disappointment. They have banned Iranians who have gone through loops and hoops to even have access to Internet to learn new languages, are not banned to take the exams. I am speechless how this is normalized. I feel so sad today.
This is why I didn’t give Duolingo five stars
Duolingo put the two Easter eggs that were so scary one is when you miss your Spanish lesson or your French or whatever a timer goes on when you miss it again I got so scared today when I’m making this when I sword there’s a little page that says deleting Duolingo you can’t hide from duo
