Duolingo is amazing, but there could be a few improvements

I love Duolingo! It is an amazing app for learning not only languages, but also maths, music and chess, however, I think if Duolingo is going to branch out and do maths, music and chess then it should also do sign language! But also, if you are thinking of getting Duolingo, just be aware that there are a lot of ads! All the ads are made by Duolingo trying to promote the premium subscription, which is better than random ads trying to promote bad games, but it’s still very annoying! I remember when Duolingo didn’t have premium and it was a lot better (in my opinion). But Duolingo is still a great app and I definitely recommend, it is very motivating because you have to try and keep your daily streak, as well as earn chests with useful rewards! It also had an element of competition as there is a leaderboard, which I personally think makes Duolingo even better! As it motivates me to work harder and get more xp to climb up the leaderboard! I also like that the characters are inclusive with many different backgrounds and sexualities. However, I don’t think there are any trans or genderqueer characters, I think it would make the game much more inclusive if there were! Also, I think Duolingo should also teach the words ‘child’, ‘person’ etc, maybe this gets taught further on but I think it’s important for these things to get taught when we learn how to say ‘brother’, ‘mother’, ‘woman’, ‘boy’ etc.
