Ear wont scan

Extremely frustrating experience with the Duolingo English Test app. The ear-scanning step simply would not work, even after trying multiple times and carefully following all of the instructions. I repositioned the phone, adjusted the angle and lighting, and retried the scan over and over, but it still would not properly detect my ears.
This is especially unacceptable for a paid, high-stakes English test. A technical problem with the app should not prevent someone from taking or completing an exam they paid for. Instead of testing my English ability, I ended up wasting a huge amount of time dealing with a scanning feature that does not work reliably.
Duolingo needs to fix the ear-scanning process or provide an alternative verification method when the technology fails. Test takers should not be penalized because of problems with the app itself. Very disappointing and stressful experience.

Test wurde aus keinem Grund abgebrochen aber das Geld haben sie sich trotzdem eingesteckt absoluter dreck und Kundenservice gibt es auch keinen.
Un petit problème…
Je croyais que c’était un duolingo normal du coup j’ai installé l’application mais en fait je me suis trompé et je ne peux plus désinstaller l’application ! Et ça fait pareil pour toute mes applis ! Alors que quelqu’un me réponde et me dise comment faire ! Juste un petit truc si ça peut vous aider : je suis sur iPhone X.
