What's New in Duory

1.1.12

September 26, 2026

We update Duory as often as possible to make it more reliable for you. In this update, you'll find: A refreshed Duory! All-new player. Listen to your phrases in a redesigned player: • A mini player you can swipe, that expands into an immersive full-screen player with an animated background • A segmented progress bar with haptic feedback as you scrub. Tap any phrase to jump straight to it. • A built-in AirPlay and audio route picker Track your progress: A new Activity summary shows how much time you spend with each language, with a friendly recap of what you've been up to. Find it in the sidebar or open it as a sheet. Checklists and lists in notes: Add bulleted lists and checklists to your notes using a new keyboard toolbar that makes formatting quicker. Better calendar: Swipe left and right to move between days. Entries are grouped by time of day, and the calendar remembers the day you had selected. You can now edit a journal entry's date from its new Edit button. Improvements and fixes: • Notes now autosave as you type • Easier topic and note picking, and you can tap anywhere on a row to select it • Adding phrases from outside the app no longer opens the note twice • When you restore a note from the Trash, Duory suggests folders that match its language • More reliable subscription and free trial handling for Duory Plus • Many iPad layout and navigation fixes Duory now requires iOS 18.6 or later. User reviews

Unusable.

Glitches every time I create a note and I can’t see anything I’ve created. You’re better off using your notes app.

If you’re willing, please long-press the Duory app icon, tap “Report a Problem,” and send as much detail as possible about what happened. This will help me investigate and improve the app. Thanks so much for the feedback.
