Photograph a whole durian to review its overall shape, stem, spikes, seams, and obvious exterior defects. The app gives a conservative, explainable shopping reference. If lighting, angle, or a key area is unclear, it says the evidence is incomplete and explains what to photograph next. VISIBLE EVIDENCE FIRST • Flag visible signs consistent with cracking, mold, leakage, insect damage, or mechanical damage • Review the visible condition of the stem, spikes, and seams • Separate photo-supported signs from internal qualities a camera cannot confirm • Give specific retake guidance when the available evidence is weak PRIVATE AND ON DEVICE Photo analysis runs entirely on your iPhone. Images are not uploaded to developer servers. No account is required, there are no ads, and the app does not track you. Core analysis does not depend on a network service. HONEST LIMITS An ordinary RGB photo cannot directly measure sweetness, dry matter, flesh thickness, chamber count, edible yield, aroma, or tapping sound. Durian Lens does not present unobserved information as a measurement. Variety, lighting, occlusion, camera angle, and post-harvest handling can all affect the analysis, so results cannot guarantee what you will find after opening the fruit.
