So I was about to watch durioo+ (as usual) and then suddenly it said reload with nothing else to do, so I clicked and then it said dear vip creat a profile and I’m like ok then when I’m done, I can’t submit the profile. This is a problem cause now I can’t watch durioo+ anymore! Creater, please fix this, thanks!

Amazing safe Islamic streaming app
This app is amazing, it gives me and my family a safe, halal alternative to things like YouTube, Netflix, Disney and is cheaper too! It’s got some great shows on there like Mina and Mila, little ammar and ilm which my kids love. It’s really easy to use, as you can use it on loads of different devices like phone, tablet and TV, and we’ve even downloaded episodes to watch on a road trip when we were travelling. I highly recommend this app if you’re a Muslim family looking to give your kids guilt free screentime. I don’t feel guilty giving my kids screentime anymore because I know it’s now actually good for them. The shows either teach good lessons, align with our faith or teach about Islam. It’s nice to be able to trust a streaming platform for once. Their customer service is great too, they even have a WhatsApp group where you can get help!

Please do Not download this app - I was charged as soon as I clicked on the trial and canceled within minutes, I was still charged for the whole year $89 - very disappointing!!
One of a kind gem, Its a 10 out of 5!
Even with children content on mainstream streaming app, there’s a lot of bad contents. I decided to take a chance with Durioo and as a parent, this app changed everything. My kids behavior greatly improved , much more respectful and actually learn arabic, more about great values! Btw the Team and customer service is over the top, by experience they are unmatched how friendly they are and want to improve. Thank you for bringing this content to our Home!

I don’t want my children to be exposed to anything and everything. This made it so much simpler as I trust Omar and Hana makers to provide safe content for the little ones.
Great App and Customer Service Experience Overall
My kids loved the app so much. It glitched on my Amazon Firestick and I contacted the team through their Instagram page. They were quick to respond and fix the issue. Now the kids are happy watching their favorite shows on it and as a parent I’m relieved they don’t ask for YouTube or Netflix anymore. The content is very clean and great for them to gain Islamic knowledge in a fun way.

Excellence in App Form
It’s rare for Muslims to have one place to direct their children. In a time of overwhelming noise, this app and its content has brought Sakeenah into our lives.

I am so glad to have found this app. We’ve used it for about 6 months already and my kids ask to watch it everyday. They have learned so much about Islam and the deen and really look forward to lending more. All of the shows are low stimulation so none of them have any of the addictive effects like most of the mainstream shows available on YouTube (ex: cocomelon!) My only complaint is that we can’t watch the new episodes on our Samsung tv and I did reach out to the company and they said it had something to do with Samsung not updating their system or something like that. It works perfectly fine on our phones though but I’d rather not let the kids hold my phone to watch. I do wish the tv app was more user friendly as it’s difficult to search for shows or to even have your favorite shows in one spot. Also on the main screen if we go to the right to see other categories, we lose sight of which category the cursor is on so we can’t really watch them that way. This may be because of the Samsung issue but I do wish the tv app and Apple app were the same. Apple app gets 5 stars from us!

Apple TV your app don’t
On Apple TV specifically yes the app opens up, but you cannot review or explore all the episodes of a series that you select the app functionality in Apple TV is unbearable. I don’t mind giving you my money but what’s the point if I can’t use it as intended, I brought this issue up before when I first got the app, but it seems like nobody cares.

Best alternative for our kids
Pretty much on par with what’s available for our kids on YouTube kids etc, accept at least I know my kids are watching Islamic related and/or clean content. When my kids watch Durioo, they tend to be even more excited and open to praying Salah and reading duas, and even the little things like saying Salaam. I am very grateful for the creators of Durioo for creating this platform for our children. There are definitely many steps that still need to be taken to make this platform equivalent to the western streaming platforms, but the benefits outweigh the drawbacks 10 fold. Alhumdulillah
