Duro! – Plan Outings in Ghana

aduro is now Duro! Same app, same plans, same account, with the name you voted for, and a new look to go with it. New • Out already? Pick a mood, shake your phone and get somewhere near you that's open, with Uber and Yango a tap away. • Follow your plan on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island: what's next, and a countdown to it. • Talk to Durobot: hold the mic and ask, then send when you're happy. • Events from Gaderin and local planners, in your plans and booked in a tap. • Plans in Kumasi as well as Accra. Pick your city and Duro remembers it. • Every venue's menu, hours and booking are free for everyone until 30 November. • Widgets for your home screen and lock screen: your next plan at a glance, with a countdown. • Long-press the app icon to start a plan, ask Durobot or find somewhere near you. • Plan near me: build a plan around where you are, or let it reach a little past the areas you pick. • Getting there: trotro, walking and taxi routes to every stop, from where you are or from the stop before, plus Uber and Yango. Your location is only used when you tap. • A Venues tab: browse every place, and search by name, area, cuisine or feel. • Venue pages rebuilt, and every menu item has its own page. • Recommend dishes once you've been, and see what people who visited recommend most. • Reserve at any restaurant through whatever it offers: its booking page, WhatsApp, a call or Instagram. Get tickets for events. • Choose a mascot app icon for your home screen. Better plans • No more zigzagging across town between stops. • Events are planned around what they cost to get in, nothing more. • Groups do activities together, and dates and anniversaries lean towards special places. • Service charge and VAT counted in your budget, so the bill holds no surprises. • Ladies-only and men-only nights, planned only for groups that fit. • Questions that fit the occasion, and a note that goes along when you share your plan. • Swap any stop and the whole card changes with it. A new look • A new logo and app icon. • iPhone-native pickers, menus and sheets throughout, a glass tab bar and a fresh sign-in. • A livelier Durobot bar on Home, and a gold star on your picture when you're Pro. • Something spooky from 10 October
