About
Dusklist answers one question: what can I point my telescope at, from here, tonight?
TONIGHT'S LIST
A short list of what your telescope will actually show from where you stand, best first. The Moon, the planets, 45 clusters, nebulae, galaxies and double stars, and 44 constellations to learn by eye. Set your aperture and where your trees and roofs end, and everything out of reach is left off. Each entry says where it is now, when it is highest, and whether you need your eyes, binoculars or a telescope.
FIND IT IN SECONDS
Hold the phone to the tube. The cross is where the tube points, the dot is the target — move until the dot sits in the ring. The ring is as wide as the compass might be wrong, so it never pretends to more precision than a phone has.
MADE FOR THE DARK
Red on black to keep your night vision, readable indoors for planning. An optional nudge at the moment it is actually dark enough.
PRIVATE
Your location stays on the phone. No account, no ads, no tracking. Works with no signal.
Never point a telescope, binoculars or your eyes at the Sun.
