Lost all my friends

Was on playa. App errored. Started it again and all friends and setting were gone. No sync or cloud. Pretty jacked up.

Resets ALL the time

This app resets/shuts down/ returns to the main menu ALL the time. Like every 3 minutes for me now. Its super frustrating.

Love it - but constantly shuts down and restarts

Thanks so much for creating this app! My only constructive note is that the app shuts down and restarts every few minutes when I’m browsing through a long list of camps or events, so I then have to reopen it to the correct burn and then try to find my old spot and start over again. If this bug gets fixed, it will be perfection.

FAQ

What does Dust do?

Dust is an unofficial, offline guide designed for Burning Man and regional burn events. It helps you discover and locate events, art installations, and theme camps. You can also favorite items, receive notifications for upcoming events, and drop pins on the map for personal items.

How does the map feature work?

The app includes map locations for art and theme camps, allowing you to find them easily. You can also drop pins on the map to mark locations like your bike, camp, or friends, helping you stay organized and find your way around the event.

Is this app free to use?

Yes, the app is completely free to use. There are no in-app purchases or advertisements mentioned, providing an uninterrupted experience for festival-goers.

Does the app work offline?

Yes, a key feature of Dust is its offline functionality. This is crucial for events like Burning Man where internet connectivity can be unreliable. You can access all its features, including maps and event listings, without an internet connection.

When will Burning Man location information be available?

Burning Man location information within the app is hidden until approximately one week before the event officially starts. This ensures the information is current and relevant for attendees preparing for the event.
