Cannot sign up

Needs a phone number to sign up, but does not accept my number (UK). even with intentional dialling code it does not accept it, so I can’t get past the opening screen.

Cannot sign in to the app because I never receive the text with the verification code. Tried multiple times over the span of days and with two devices. I used to be able to log in. Emailed support but no response.
