Reliable external display setup
I needed an external display mode for HDMI adapters and wireless casting, and dvPrompter Plus fit well into our setup. The mirrored output is easy to work with during interviews so the talent can read naturally. Once configured, it stays stable for longer recordings. This reduces fiddling during production.

Solid control for rehearsals
I use dvPrompter Plus during rehearsals and small shoots. The talent-led remote control makes it easy to pause, resume, and adjust speed without breaking focus. The break markers let me jump to the right section fast, and font size changes are handy when the room lighting is different. Overall it keeps things smooth and predictable.

Playlist workflow saves time
For live segments and multi-part content, the playlist feature is very helpful. I can load multiple scripts and slides and switch between them without restarting everything. The automatic or manual sequence matches how we run run-of-show changes. It’s been useful for everything from webinars to staged event announcements.

Super Simple! Almost too simple…
At first glance, this app is pretty simple and straight forward. Using it with the Bluetooth remote is awesome except for two key features:
1 - Text always starts off screen. There is no way to scroll though to the part of the text you wish to see. A lot of presenters like to to start with the text half way on the screen before pressing play. Also, if you need to continue where you left off, you have replay the entire prompt(can’t quickly scroll to the part you wish to start at)
2 - When using the Bluetooth remote, since the text starts off screen, there is no indication if the play button was actually pressed. Since there is a bit of delay with the Bluetooth remote, presenters are constantly double press the button. The “chevron” I have enabled should turn green or something to indicate that it has begun scrolling or some action has taken place.
If theses two feature are added in, totally worth the $22 cdn…

Pas ergonomique, on doit quitter chaque fois la partie défilement pour faire un réglage, impossible de revenir en arrière où avancer par sauts… bref, appli nulle.

The Scripts are sorted randomly, so its hard to work with more than 20 scripts.
At all spend 650€ for hardware and getting a useless software an remotecontrol.
