I wish it was all free it’s an amazing app but paying for the bible is weird

This is one of my favorite apps and it used to be 5 stars. I still highly recommend it but they recently added a verse of the day feature. This is now the only part of the app that is frustrating.
Dwell, Please allow us to turn off this feature. It causes me to lose my place constantly. I will gladly rate 5 stars if you update this app to make verse of the day optional.

Great app
It’s a great app. I’ll listen to it often and find such joy and whatever I’ll listen to. It is the word of God, pure and simple.
You should get it
I am a very big Christian and I kept finding a lot of ways to get closer to God when I was playing an app and an ad came up. I saw this audio Bible and I asked my dad if I could get it he said yes, I could and ever since I started reading this app I just felt amazing and feel way closer to God I love God so much and Jesus also remember God in Jesus always protect you and they love you no matter what

This made the bible so accessible and fun. After many years of trying dwell finally helped me read the full bible.

Meditative listening and learning
I enjoy this app tremendously! I paid for a yearly subscription for two years and then decided it hadn’t grown old and signed up for a lifetime subscription. I love the flexibility. I use it for personal meditation or memorising with a goal. I can make my own playlists, or follow along a themed playlist that that Dwell has made available on the App. I

Beautiful, but $$$$
This is so lovely. It really is. However, the experience does not match the expense if you want to really enjoy this app. There are so many other resources out there for free. The Spoken Gospel and many others that do not cost are quite enjoyable.

Love this app!
Both my kids and I enjoy this app to keep our minds centered on scripture. So many times in the midst of a stressful day, dwell has helped me to turn my mind back to the Lord. Highly recommend for kids, teens and adults.
ESV voices?
Tbh, I’d rate this app 100! But lately, I’m dissatisfied and find myself returning to the ESV app. I love that translation and grew up with it, but the ESV variety isn’t great on dwell. One review put it best that the ESV voices don’t have any inflection. It’s very flat. The ESV app has great voices! I feel like I’ve suggested this 1,000 that dwell use their recordings but we only really get new books or playlists these days. Voices to the Bible are the point of this app. But if the ESV is done on this app, then I can’t stick with it. They are so hard to listen to on here. Sorry.

Missing the orthodox bible
I was going to download and give this app a try, but I didn’t even get past the translation selection screen because there was no orthodox Bible translation, which is arguably the most important translation to have so I’m deleting the app because I don’t trust the other translations
Easily the best Audio Bible on the market!
No other audio Bible app comes close. Love the dramatized versions and the children’s version for the kids. Highly recommend!

I love that they have different voices so you can choose if you want a softer and more relaxing or a voice that will keep you awake I love the app. Although I wish it was free all the way I’m glad to go on a trip and listen to the word
