Well done! But expensive…

I did the free trial of this and I was sooooo impressed! Everything was great and I wanted so much to keep it, but as a 17 year old who try’s to be frugal and not to spend money on subscriptions, I can’t really afford this. I understand why it is the price it is, because it’s so well done. You guys did an incredible job! Maybe in the future I will be able to invest in this. It would also be cool if it was a one time payment for life, rather than a subscription that has to be renewed.

Response from developer

Thanks for your review!

The best Bible app out there!

It’s classy and sleek appearance combined with the custom playlist features and variety of voices and background music makes this the best out here! So glad I bought the lifetime membership! It has blessed me tremendously.

No monthly just yearly

There’s no monthly option. You have to pay for a year. I just wanted to try it. There was no trial.

Days

Sometimes the days don’t advance when you’re on a planned reading schedule hopefully they can fix that

This could be a very good feature PLEASE CONSIDER THIS

A good feature would be that you write down prayers in the app that you wanna say later and during that prayer your background music from the bible reading/listening part of the app will play in the background in the prayer section

Daily

The Daily Dwell is a staple in our home, a way we ( our family with teenagers and college aged children) all connect and have table talk, it brings us together and we love it.

SPIRITUAL GREED

Profiting off of God’s Word to enrich themselves with extremely high prices is a sin. Anyone who does ought to be ashamed of themselves. It’s that love of money that drives avarice.

Best Bible listening app

by far and away the best Bible listening app that I have ever used. What makes it so particularly good is its excellent layout, combined with a large variety of voices and continual development to improve it.

A must have App

Dwell is an excellent take on daily devotions and the Bible, with multiple translations, background music and so much more. I find myself reaching for Dwell every morning and evening. The word of God seems to come to life in this app and for all ages. Thankful for a resource that helps calm and center in me in truth and gratitude. My kids love it too, we use it daily for family Bible ready and bedtime stories.

Recent update

Recent updated added a ‘Selah button’ to pause the reading but continue background settings. Fitting in this new button removed the AirPlay button to a great detriment for the user. While I understand making this new button readily available it changed entirely my experience with the app and the ability to AirPlay to multiple HomePods

Dwell Car Rides

Beautiful app to listen to God’s Word on the morning commute!

5 stars great for kids and adults

I liked it a lot but when I first started it was trying to make me pay but I had an opinion to not pay and I like the stories

Decent app, awful interface

The contents of the app are great, the voices are high quality, and there are lots of good features to make use of.

But the interface is complicated. It’s like every update is designed to make things more difficult to use. Buttons are made smaller, requiring a more precise tap for the more important things. Need to hit the play button on your playlist? It’s so small that you’re more likely to tap into the playlist than actually hit the play button. Interface components are moved around for seemingly little benefit, requiring you to relearn things just to continue doing what you’ve been doing. Ultimately, convenience and usability is sacrificed for design that has no function other than looking fresh and different.

Love this app

Dwell helps me get in the Word with ease. I truly look forward to the verse of the day and the wonderful selection of Bible reading plans with voices that don’t sound like robots!

Star Wars/Lord of The Rings fanatic!

Great app! I wish they had verse of the day on here.🫤🫤

Absolute apostacy!!

This is yet another translation that has totally removed the sacred name of God that appears over 7000 times in the original manuscripts…ps 83:18 is one verse that the old king James kept the name of God….Jesus himself stated in his powerful prayer to his father and God in John 17:6,26 he had made his father’s name known….. in modern English just like the son of God is Jesus in modern English his fathers name in modern English is Jehovah ….ask yourself…. Why do most religions refuse to use the name of the God and father of Jesus…. It’s just like Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-24 that most who called him their lord would not be saved…they would be on the broad road to destruction…why…cause as he told the Samaritan woman in John 4 because they don’t know who God really is and do not do the will of Jesus father Jehovah…. Satans primary tool is religion…by hiding the name of almighty God Jehovah…. He is successful using Christian religions to be misdirecting their worship away from God the father Jehovah…..

seek the truth today go to jw.org and look up why it’s important for our salvation to know and love Jehovah……it means our everlasting salvation!!

Making time with God a priority

Waking up and going to sleep hearing Gods Word helps me prioritize my day by beginning with attention to God first thing in the morning and again before I sleep. He is the beginning and the end. I absolutely love the variety of voices and their unique interpretations of the Word. God bless you all for blessing thousands of people who are seeking to know more about God. ❤️
