Good app with some drawbacks

I bought this app to improve my Japanese for a semester abroad in Japan. I like the concept of the app and how the exercises are set up.
However, I would like to see some fixes:
- support for the Apple Pencil on the iPad. I use the pencil to write the Kanji, but the lack of palm rejection often causes unintended strokes with my palm.
- improved kanji recognition. I prefer writing smaller than the full screen on the iPad, because this feels unnatural. However, the kanji is sometimes not detected correctly. There are machine learning based recognition methods that work much more reliably, e.g. the ones from Apple or Goodnotes.
If these issues are addressed in a future update, I would love to change my rating to 5 stars.

DX learn kanji

Dont be fooled. This program is written by Chinese speakers. The characters are riddled with mistakes that are very confusing. Makes learning Japanese harder then if you don't use the program. Learning kanji is hard enough without all the landmines. The iphone app seems ok but ipad not. There are 100s of mistakes all very subtle but real. If you switch back and forth ipad to iphone. Its even worse.

Super helpful for foreign language learners!

I was searching for an app to help me catch up on kanji. I studied 6 years ago and hadn’t found a speaker for ages, but wanted to restart for work opportunities. Super helpful app for building up kanji!!!
