Great App!!
I have this app on my iPad, and have found it to be a great tool to study the bible with. You can install multiple translations, and easily compare them while you read. The font size and background color are adjustable, for easier readability. And, there are plenty of other nice features as well. I enjoy using it. Thank you, for making this app available, and at a very reasonable price.

Extremely useful app. Reliable and dependable
Very well designed and stocked with many free resources and very good paid ones. I use this all the time for Bible study.

Why is the EWG comments or writings not available as a Bible reference? Instead you have this elementary opinions of Meyers, will delete this app as a result, a wasted purchase
Great Tool
I’ve been using e-sword now for 2 years and its such a great and easy, user friendly app. I’ve never used the PC version but i find that this does the job. I use other Bible software but find myself using this more often than not.

Let down by lack of iCloud sync
A much loved app, that in the many years I have used it has become an indispensable aid to Bible study. But it's such a pity that the iPhone, iPad and Mac apps are all quite separate with no syncing of content/settings between them. For example, notes/highlights added to one device require repeating a laborious backup/export/import workaround to be replicated on the others, which are instantly out of sync as soon as another note/ highlight is added. Would be such a blessing to see iCloud sync enabled in a future update.

Aunque la puse en español, hay muchas cosas que quedan en inglés, además la strong que es muy importante solo en inglés, la tengo en mi pc y es muy útil, pero aquí para el iPad no tanto.
Misleading
You said there are several free resources to pick from, which is true, but the popular bible study resources are not free. This fact should be stated in the description.
Remove chapters and verse
I don't understand why to remove chapters and verses from the New Testament or how to find chapters, not titles, please stop this.

Wuest word study add on
I am very disappointed in the customer service I received trying to install the purchase of this add on. I feel like I followed the add on instructions. Even engaged my IT friend to make sure I was doing things correctly. However the add on would not seem to show up in the app. I reached out four times for help. Their customer service just kept sending the same instructions each time. I asked if there was some way I could communicate with someone by phone or chat and still to this day I feel I’ve been ignored.

The best I have found
I have tried many Bible apps to study the scripture and this has been the most helpful. There is a lot of free content but I wish the to pay for materials are too expensive for me.

No sync is a dealbreaker..
Downloaded 3 versions March 2025, iPhone version, iPad version & PC version but none of the versions share information from one to another. If you make a note on the iPad, you can’t read it on the iPhone or PC so each version is completely stand alone. The iOS versions have a few nice features (Strong’s & Maps) but overall everything e-Sword does you can get for free on the internet. The PC version is very “clunky” and I much prefer other resources over e-Sword but the iPad version is decent as a stand alone but serious study or note taking falls short. iPhone is more limited due to small screen size but with KJV Plus Strongs it can be an effective tool. Had I known prior to purchase that each version doesn’t sync to the other versions I would not have chosen this software.

I’m sorry but I have used a free bibles that have way better options than this one I thought by paying for this one will have better and more options, I don’t like the laye out for it, I’m not happy with it if you want more versions you have to pay then individually
Easy to use
I use other bible software and have invested a lot into another program on my computer for serious study, but find I consistently use e-Sword on my iPad as my go to for Bible study in the morning and for preaching - it’s just so intuitive, easy, and well laid out. There are many bibles, commentaries and other resources that can be purchased to add-on which are better value than many other programs. Highly recommend this whatever else you may have
