Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. The app currently utilizes the “wind vector down” method (plotting the wind speed down from the grommet), which is a standard solution taught in many flight training programs. I understand that different training sources and pilots may prefer alternative approaches. In the meantime, you can use the tool in Pro mode — in the wind section, there is a “Reverse Wind Direction” option, which allows you to use the “wind vector up” method if you prefer. I am also planning to implement this method in the normal mode in a future update. I’d really appreciate the opportunity to better understand your specific case. Please feel free to contact me at alicihansarac@gmail.com with the inputs or tool you were using so I can review it in detail. Thank you again for your feedback — it helps improve the app.
E6b Emulator that works-no adds!
Just a user note: the IAS calculator tab is of little use from my point of view. The speed tab should have KTS to MPH conversion.
Lastly if the end user could re-arrange the order of each tab ie-group pressure alt, density alt, fuel mass in one group then a lot of operational safety information is in front of the pilot before take-off.
E6b Emulator that works
The calculator sections are limited by the absent (-) key so a negitive number can not be properly inputed.
I did not see a method to convert gallons to pounds/ liters to Kg"s etc. The front side of the E6b can do this if one knows the conversion factors but is prone to entry error's.
Looking forward for updates.
