This app does do the calculations for you BUT it also shows you the workings. This means that it could also be a learning aid.

Excellent App

It is fast, intuitive and accurate. I use it extensively in my flying and hope a day will come when it’s linked up to say SkyDemon so that you can access the functionality using the SD screen and ‘tab’ as you now have for say Notams, Weather, Airfields etc - to have a E6BJA tab.

Great App

Easy to use for cockpit calculations from wind components to track calculation or fuel estimation- a must have tool for any pilot!

All in one…

An app which does literally everything, is simplistic in its design and has a really good write up on how the calculations are done. I commend the developer for a job well done ! As an Airline Pilot/Instructor, I’ve found this app very useful and practical.

This is a great tool without being needlessly complex! All those issues that you have to deal with mentally when you’re flying are simplified here.Happy to have this in my toolbox.

Excellent App

Loaded on my EFB. It a great tool for planning that includes an explanation of the math. Perfect for pilots new and old.

Very good technical App

Very good technical App, so the old fashioned appearance is neglectable.
One point is missing: the conversion of descent rate to ft/NM. For IFR would that be cool. Thanks.

Incredible app

Similar apps want to charge $10 for simple calculator functions that they’ve tried to fluff up with awful UI. This app is everything I need exactly where I need it without any unnecessary cosmetics.

Comprehensive calculator

A great tool for planning both, in the air and on the ground. Although some of the boxes are too small when trying to navigate the various functions in the air. My only one observation is the holding pattern calculator, it doesn’t state whether you should input the inbound heading or outbound heading to the fix. It is actually the outbound heading you must input otherwise your hold will be 180 degrees out. I was always taught to work on the inbound heading to the fix. Perhaps there should be an option? In or outbound heading? And bigger boxes please!

Thank you for the feedback and review! Just to clarify — the holding pattern calculator uses the inbound course to the fix, as is standard practice. The reciprocal (outbound) is computed internally, and all plotting, headings, and instructions are based on that. Happy flying!
