WHAT THIS APP IS EA Section 2 Blitz is a free, offline study-quiz app for candidates preparing for Part 2 (Businesses) of the IRS Special Enrollment Examination, the exam that qualifies an Enrolled Agent. It holds 239 original multiple-choice questions across 11 sections of US federal business tax, each with a written explanation of the correct answer. Content reflects 2025 federal tax law. Audience: adults preparing for the SEE, plus tax preparers using it as a refresher. Built for short gaps in a working day. Not aimed at children. SETUP AND ACCESS No account, login, sign-up, credentials or sample files. The app is free in full: nothing is locked, and there are no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Launch it and every mode is immediately available: • Daily Blitz Challenge — five questions, the same set for everyone that day • Quick Blitz — a quiz from all 11 sections; length set by the 5/10/15 picker • Blitz 60 — a 60-second timed round • Tackle Your Problems — rebuilds a quiz from questions previously missed, so answer some incorrectly first to populate it • Practice by Section — any of the 11 sections; the book icon on each row opens an unscored read-through • My Progress — accuracy, XP, streak, calendar, trophies, per-section mastery • Settings (gear icon, top right) — the two toggles below, sound, progress export/restore, reset THE TWO OPTIONAL TOGGLES • "Daily streak reminder" schedules a local notification at a time the user picks. Local notifications only (UNUserNotificationCenter) — there is no push server and the app registers for no remote notifications. Permission is requested in context when the toggle is switched on, and the app behaves normally if it is declined. This is the only permission prompt anywhere in the app. • "iCloud sync" backs up quiz progress to the user's own private iCloud using iCloud key-value storage (NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore, entitlement com.apple.developer.ubiquity-kvstore-identifier). No CloudKit, no server operated by the developer, and no account system. Off by default; with the toggle off, progress stays entirely on-device. EXTERNAL SERVICES, TOOLS AND PLATFORMS None. The app makes no network requests and has no server component; all questions are bundled in the binary. There is no analytics, advertising, tracking or attribution SDK, no crash reporter, no authentication service, no payment processor, no AI service, no CDN and no third-party data provider. It requests no location, contacts, camera, microphone or photo access, and shows no App Tracking Transparency prompt. The only third-party code is Capacitor (Ionic, open source), used to wrap the web app natively, with its Haptics plugin for tap feedback and its Local Notifications plugin for the reminder above. The app collects no data of any kind, which matches the "Data Not Collected" privacy declaration. REGIONAL DIFFERENCES None. Identical in every region and storefront: no geolocation, no region detection, no region-gated content, no server-driven configuration. English only. The subject matter is US federal tax law because the SEE is a US credential, but that is fixed content in the binary, identical in any country. It is not a tax preparation or filing service, gives no personalised tax advice, handles no financial accounts, and processes no payments or personal financial data.
