Wont connect to my drone
We just got the drone but it wont connect to app. It wont calibrate with the app.
It would be great if the app, you know worked...
It will connect to the drone about 75% of the time, when it doesn’t you have to restart the drone and the app, it will display a live feed until you try to fly the drone, then it will stop for no reason, you can at least still see the battery percentage while the app has a stroke because you tried to fly the drone, don’t even bother using the controls, they don’t work

Faulty Parameters
Unfortunately the app will not allow the parameters to be set above 10 ft for homeward return on waypoints and limits the speed to 6 mph despite the parameters available being much higher.
Works fine.
I've flown my Eachine E520S several times with this app. Works great. Only thing that is nonfunctional is the button that is supposed to change the camera angle up or down. May not be the app's fault.
Needs metric measurements instead of feet
Great app does the job, it could use a little bit of an atheistic update.
The app needs an option to use in metric instead of feet in the settings parameters for the drone. There is only three countries on the planet that use feet and inches.

Loses connectivity and freezes
I’ve flown my new 511S three times so far. Each time the app has locked up when the drone is less than 50 meters away. The FPV image freezes and I lose all telemetry readings. I’m still able to control the drone perfectly with the transmitter, but I have no idea what the camera is seeing, what my altitude or distance are, etc.
Apparently this is the only app that’s compatible with my drone, so I’m stuck with it. To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement.

App I use with my Eachine E520S
I’ve been impressed with this app. I use it with the Eachine E520S for recording the in-flight video and for monitoring the wealth of GPS information it receives back from the quadcopter.
It can also be used to fly the quad, but so far I’ve used the supplied controller instead. You can also use the display for FPV flight, but since you can’t legally fly beyond LOS here in Australia I’ve not really used that, but I think it could easily be done. There is a bit of latency, but this is not a racing quad so it’s not really a problem.
A couple of features I really liked:
1. It guides you through the compass calibration with a really nice animation that shows how to do it much more clearly than the explanation in the manual does.
2. It can be expanded to full screen if you are using an iPad.
