Ear Note

EarNote combines a visual tuner with three ear-training activities for iPhone and iPad. Practise with your voice or instrument and hear piano references, without creating an account. TUNER Play or sing a sustained note and see its name, octave, frequency, staff position and tuning deviation in real time. COMPARE TUNING Listen to two notes and identify whether the second is lower, the same or higher. Choose from three difficulty levels. LISTEN AND PLAY Hear a reference and tap Play or sing when you are ready. Sustain the same note and octave during the two-second capture, then check the result. Replay the reference and try again whenever needed. TONAL EAR Listen to the tonal context and recognise one of the seven degrees of a major key. Check the correct note after answering. Practise in all twelve major keys, set A4 from 440 to 443 Hz and switch between English and Spanish. Repeat questions, move to the next one or finish an activity whenever you like. Counters track progress during your session. Piano references are included and activities work offline. Only Tuner and Listen and play require microphone permission. Audio is processed on your device: it is never recorded, saved or uploaded. No ads, tracking or in-app purchases. Designed for iPhone and iPad, with light and dark modes. Requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. For note detection, play or sing one sound at a time in a quiet setting.
