About

Record, hear it back instantly, and keep improving. Earback is a recorder for practicing by comparing a reference with your own takes—on one screen, over and over. The moment you stop recording, your own take starts looping, so there's no jumping between apps and your practice never breaks. Great for singing, karaoke and vocal training, instrument phrases, speech and articulation, language shadowing, lines and reading aloud, or impressions—for anyone who wants to get closer to a reference, repeat the same spot, or check it slowly. ■ Hear it back the moment you record The reference and your recordings live on one screen. Recording starts looping the instant you finish, so you can replay it as many times as you like. ■ Change speed, keep the pitch 0.3–4× speed with pitch preserved. "Stepped speed" gradually speeds up from a slow check to full tempo. ■ Three ways to compare - Alternate — reference and take back to back → notice what's different - Together — layer both at once → check timing and harmony - Sequence — play from a chosen row downward → check it as a whole ■ Any reference you like Set a reference from an audio file, Apple Music, or another recording. Trim just the part you need (up to 15s) and repeat only that. ■ Record your way "Auto-record to match the reference" or "record while held." Count-in before recording and automatic silence trimming included. You can also record while the reference plays (sing/play along; earphones recommended). ■ Show lyrics or a script Display them fixed, or "scroll" them in time with playback. Adjust color, size and position per character. ■ Check it slowly Slow the reference to 0.2–1× (pitch preserved). Drop anchors to practice tricky phrasing in parts. ■ Easy to organize Folders, favorites, notes, and export (share). A "Try it" set (a reference plus two recordings) is included from the first launch, so you can experience side-by-side comparison right away. —— Pricing —— Free to use with every feature (up to 3 practice files, 15-second recordings, with a banner ad). A one-time ¥600 purchase removes ads and unlocks unlimited files and 60-second recordings. No feature locks, no trial period. Supported formats: m4a / mp3 / wav / aac / caf Your recordings are stored on your device.
