About

Earbug delivers natural shared human connections and experiences across music streaming services. Discover and listen to new music in local and remote jukeboxes. Share playlists and songs without friction with friends on other streaming services. Get fresh news articles delivered to you for the artists you love, and more! Earbug is available today for Apple Music, and support for Spotify and YouTube Music is just a few weeks away! Jukeboxes – Create and join jukeboxes to discover and listen to music with other fans. • Local Jukeboxes - Use local jukeboxes when everyone will be in one place – best for events like parties, dinners, car trips, etc. In a local jukebox, everyone at the event can add songs to the jukebox queue, but songs play back only through the streaming service of the jukebox creator, typically on a Bluetooth speaker or stereo. • Guest Access - In local jukeboxes, any fan in the jukebox can tap an icon to display a QR code. Other event attendees can scan the code with their phone to join the jukebox session as a guest in a mobile web app, without needing the Earbug app. • Remote Jukeboxes - Use remote jukeboxes when everyone is in different places – great for jam sessions with co-workers or hanging out and vibing with remote family and friends. In remote jukeboxes, the songs play back synchronously through each person's streaming service on their own phone. • Public Jukeboxes - Public jukeboxes are a great way to let other music fans around the world join you in sharing and discovering music focused on a particular musical genre or theme. Other fans find and join your jukebox in the Earbug feed. • Private Jukeboxes - Private jukeboxes are limited to friends you invite to join, so you can have an undisturbed, safe space to hang out and share music with people you know. • Song Queue Options – You control song queue playback, with options for turn based, creator controlled, and order added. • Chat – Text chat with other music fans in your jukebox session, great for remote jukeboxes when you’re in different locations. • Cross Platform Jukeboxes - Earbug has integrated with Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music, enabling music fans to join and play in jukeboxes together, regardless of which streaming platform they use. (YouTube Music and Spotify available in a few weeks.) Playlists – Share playlists with friends across streaming services. Discover new playlists and songs matched to your musical DNA. Subscribe to playlists you like to be notified of great new songs as they’re added. • Tap a button to share your playlist and a link is copied. Paste the link into a message to your friend. Earbug automatically translates your playlist into Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube Music. Your friend can play individual songs or the entire playlist as if it were their own playlist, using their own streaming service, either in the Earbug app or in a guest browser experience if they don’t have the app. • Earbug analyzes your streaming library to understand your musical DNA – your favorite artists, genres, songs, etc. We deliver playlists to you, built and curated by other music fans, and matched to your preferences and taste. Human curation is still way better than AI and algorithms for helping you find new music. • When you find playlists you like, you can subscribe to them, and Earbug notifies you when new songs are added, delivering effortless discovery. Articles - Earbug scours the Internet daily to find fresh articles from the last week about your favorite artists, making it easy to keep up with the latest music news. Merch – Earbug finds cool merch designs for your favorite artists, like stickers, t-shirts, mugs, and posters, and we serve these up to you alongside playlists, jukeboxes, articles, and other music content and experiences. We are developing other great features now, so grab the Earbug app, and get ready for more amazing music experiences!
