EarTag

Keep a clear record of your herd, from a new calf's first photo to its place in the family and its sale history. EarTag brings your cattle records together in a simple, easy-to-read app for iPhone and iPad. Add the details you know now and fill in the rest as your herd grows. Know each animal • Add a photo, ear tag, name, breed, sex, and animal type. • Record a birthday when known, with exact or estimated dates. • Add notes that help you recognize and care for each animal. Follow births and family • Add a calf directly from its mother's record. • Link mothers, fathers, and calves. • Keep calving dates and a mother's last calf date together with her history. Organize your pastures • Create pasture names that match your farm. • Assign animals to a pasture or leave them unassigned. • Rename a pasture while keeping its animals assigned to it. Keep useful history • Record weights, breeding, treatments, notes, and care due dates. • Mark an animal sold and keep its sale date, price, weight, and fees. • Record a date of death while preserving the animal's family and any earlier sale information. • View active, sold, deceased, and archived animals. Take your records with you • Save records on your device and continue working when iCloud is unavailable. • Sync through your device's Apple account when iCloud is available. • Invite named people to a shared herd and choose whether they can view or edit it. • Export animal details as CSV or create a full backup with photos and history. An Apple account signed in on your device is needed for iCloud sync and shared herds. Your core herd records can be used on the device without creating a separate EarTag account.
