Ad free no more

Supposed to be ad free as part of the subscription so surprised to see there is a “news article” promoting free bets on paddy power for new customers.

Pretty poor all round from whoever made this decision

Response from developer

Hi Jim - Thanks for your feedback. We'll raise this with our editorial and advertising teams.

Can’t login, reset password. Nothing.

Highly unreliable so will cancel my subscription

Keeps logging me out, then when I log in says the email or password isn’t recognised (despite it working on the web). Basically the app is now useless.

Great Ipswich Town Coverage

After two good offers I’ve now subscribed for a year.
Great Ipswich Town coverage by Mark Heath, Stuart Watson,Alex Jones and Rossco. Their chat videos are informative and amusing-Kings of Anglia videos too.
Good coverage of local news and recommendations on new places such as restaurants etc opening. I live in Bury St Edmund’s and it provides good coverage of my local area.

Better since the update but still not great

Better since the bug has been fixed in the update but I find an article I would like to read on Facebook, go on to the app and the article isn’t there. Frustrating.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. We are constantly working on improving the app and are currently working on a big update that will add a further level of improvements to functionality and depth of content. We will factor your feedback into this process to see what improvements we can make in this area.

OK but constant bug

Content is good- however during recent storms the updates on the web version were much quicker. This is disappointing as we pay for the app.

There is a persistent bug that reverts the page you are reading back to the Home Screen, despite making the developer aware -not their fault they say. Have to delete the app and log back in. Again, a paid app should not have this persistent issue. Sort this out and will give higher rating.

Thank you for your feedback. We are aware of the issue in question which is affecting a small number of users and have an update ready to release for the app which will resolve this. This is currently in QA and will be released shortly. In the meantime, if you can please try restarting your device and uninstalling then reinstalling the app, this may resolve the issue. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Excellent content

Very happy

Needs ability to choose editions

Great app and I would subscribe but you need to be able to choose which edition. I live in west Suffolk and would want news from there plus the supplements and free bury mercury as I do on PC to subscribe to this too.

Needs other editions

Good app and works well, but can you give us the option to choose which edition we are getting (Essex, Suffolk, etc). Living in Suffolk I'd prefer to read the Suffolk version rather than the Essex one only offered here.
