Take offs are a breeze

Easy to use once you get the feel for it, is it perfect? No, but it saves me so much time i can live with the quirks.

Suggestion:
A curve tool in measuring would be great rather than lots of points.

A less animated and easier to use file system, maybe tappable thumbnails of other images in the project at the edge of the page.

Good but could be better

I love the measure tools for working on pdf layouts and elevation drawings. I just wish the terrible hold and zoom update would be removed as it is terrible on an iPad, and also please can you add the ability to drag imported pdf into a single project as I often need to now combine pdf with different scales etc just to keep them as a single project in this app.

Can’t import PDFs

Unfortunately you cannot import PDFs from Dropbox or by any other method described in there nomenclature. Therefore the application is useless to me. I hope if the developers read this they will correct the issue or refund my money. Hopefully I can prevent someone else from wasting there money like I just did CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!

Hello there. I’m sorry you are having trouble. You can import PDFs from Dropbox. Go to export, then more, then to Easy Build. Please remove your bad review.

Off to a Great Start!!!

This app is in it’s infancy, but has immense potential!!! Please keep working on it. I rated 3 stars initially because it really needs some additional features. For example when scaling a wall for paint, I can’t figure out now to remove space like a window, doors are easy but removing space from within an area would be sooo great! I retracted the initial 3 star rating and gave 5 because I want to encourage people to use the app and the developer to continue to improve and add more features. I’ll be sure to share it with builder friends of mine.
My top requests would be:
1 - Removable space from within an area
2 - Layers
3 - Ability to click layers and add them to a container
4 - Assign a square foot dollar value to layer types
Thank you for your effort in creating this app. I spent days looking for something like this and I’m glad I finally found it.

Bravo! Just what I was looking for!

I do takeoffs from civil site plans and needed an iPad friendly tool to create small projects and easily measure to scale. This works perfect because I can easily separate the plans I need from the main pdf master file. The accuracy is amazing. My only wish is that when I do the measurements it would show the individual segment measurements. It shows overall which is fine. It works great with various Dropbox variants (I use OxDrive). It also puts the finished file in email so I can send to my estimator. It’s like the app was built for me.

Best app ever

This is a very easy and accurate way to measure plans and easy to share via email.
You will master it within minutes.
Just be careful not to accidentally press the Cancel button when you are halfway through a large area as you will have to start again.

Plans not coming up

I’ve had and like this program and the ease of use however when I bought my new iPad, the files came over but I can’t see them. I can see the actual file but when I tap on it, nothing is visible. Is there a was to get them back?

Hi, Please try these troubleshooting steps. 1. Backup your plans to a safe location. 2. Copying the plans again to the new app on the iPad. Did you set up the new iPad from scratch or was it with a restore? (Warning! If it was a restore and you delete the app of the new iPad you may lose plan alterations you have made and will have to refer to your old iPad for this information) What iPad are you running it on and what Operating System is it on? Please email here with this information. Thank you for your feedback we hope to get this sorted out for you. If still not working. Try deleting the app on the new iPad and reinstall it again. Cannot Upload PDF Drawings

THIS APP DOES NOT WORK! The light file has a place to upload drawings but when you purchase the Pro App this disappears and it tells you to upload thru ITunes which does not work. There are no tutorial AT ALL. I do not know who wrote these other reviews but buyer be ware.

Import unavailable, website non-existing

In the lite version, I could see the “+” sign for importing the drawings. However, when I paid for the full version, there is no “+” or any options for adding my own drawings. Only thing that can be operated is the sample. When I check their website for support, the website doesn’t exist! Is this a fraud?!!! I want refund!

I’m sorry you have difficulty Open PDF in email. Touch Open with Touch More Touch Easy Build app. PDF will open in the app. Enjoy!

Great app for takeoffs or to do quick plan measurements. The speed and optimization is incredible. Twice as fast to load documents as our desktop takeoff software

Thanks for the review! If you touch the file and hit rename, you can edit the file name.

I use it everyday on site.

I run a construction company. We use it to measure elements of plans scale rules and certain scales cannot give an accurate measure. It turns out it is my go to for getting measurements from plans. It’s brilliant.

Best app t manage my projects

Best app t manage my projects easy on the iPad
I was scare when I change the iPad Pro that this app wasn’t on the App Store and I could not download. It’s nothing like it to help me with measurements and manage my work “Blue prints” with out haven’t to print them out
