An actual tutorial‽
Usually the closest thing to a tutorial is the too-fast preview video that's essentially worthless even after slowing it down. Hundreds of my apps would be used instead of sitting fallow with a mental note of “someday.” This oil painter is easy, intuitive and effective. I keep looking for a go-back arrow but it's really not necessary because changes aren't set in stone- the original data is still there and accessible. I bought this years ago and love finding I have a good app I'm not forced to rent or to watch ads I can't get rid of. Thank you for being good people, developers!

This App is AMAZING!
I had been searching for an app like this for months! This one is the one! It creates the perfect effects, is simplistic and so easy to use, and designed in such a way to allow for artistic individuality - not cookie cutter projects.

How to make in app purchase?
This is much better than your publicity suggests, and you can use a great deal of skill if you wish in selecting which parts of the image to leave rough and sketchy, for example, a cloudy sky, and which parts you want in great detail, for example, a particular building. It would be 5 stars if I could see how to make the in app purchase which would presumably stop the occasional advertisement.

Was interested in the app but after downloading it there’s a weird bug, it won’t let me past the video tutorial. Disappointing :/

I, too, really like this app. Would love to see it developed farther. Maybe layers, canvas texture. More brushes, how about a blending ability. Even so. Really like this one.
Not good!
Very basic, but effective and simple to use. However, it gets one star because when other options are selected like brush style for example, it freezes on the brush selection page and you’re unable to get back to your photo. Very poor,

I love this app.
Cropping or growing canvas size would help. Sampling colors, setting canvas color would be nice, too. Plus the ability to interpolate to higher or lower resolutions.
Of course, I can do these very things in other apps to supplement.

This is so much fun! If you can touch your device you can paint.
Nice white screen
Won’t open on my iPad 6th gen. I just get a white screen. Maybe use app as a night light?
Frustrating
Have tried downloading this app several times but all I get is a blank screen. IOS 14.2
Unable to work on own photos.
I select a photo from my album to work on. I’m able to see it when I click on the ‘eye’ symbol. But when I try to move my finger on the white space it shows results for the sample image of the girl in white on the beach. Not sure why that’s happening.

I love this app! it’s very clever at what it does, would be amazing if you could save the image to a higher resolution though, as it does seem to scale it down quite a bit, once finished.
Amazing app
I’ve seen a lot of apps and I’ve used many of them. But I have to say this is by far the best for creating realistic paintings. And even more so if you happen to be proficient in Photoshop to bring in what you’ve created to finish it with even better detail.
Does not work!
Had the lite version installed but it kept going to a blank screen with no menu or back button so I bought the paid version and it still does the same thing. Not happy, total waste of money. I have the latest iPad.
I tried to contact the app support and it is in Asian and no way of translating. This is not good support for a paid app.

I wish there were more features / maybe erase, change colors but maybe that is in the professional app
