I started using this app during Ramadan 2020 on my journey to reading Arabic from scratch. The way the lessons are made make it easy to build consistency and come back to the lessons and see your progress. JazzakโAllah khair for bringing to us.๐ธ

But the most important part, the lessons, make this app crash every time. I cannot use the lessons at all. It made sense in retrospect as this hasnโt been updated in 3 years. Quite sad; this had promise.

Any time I tried to open a lesson, the app totally crashes and closes. Contacted support, with no response. Very disappointing.

I am in the Qur'an Revolution tajweed program. Udstad Wisam recommended this app to help students learn proper pronunciation of Arabic letters to enable us to progress in his program. Mashallah, this app is very helpful and worth the small investment. The cost of practicing and entrenching the wrong pronunciation of the letters is extremely difficult to correct after once you become aware of the proper pronunciation. Better to learn the correct pronunciation first, and save yourself the hard work and frustration of relearning and undoing incorrect pronunciation. I know this first hand as a new Muslim. I learned to pray in Arabic and memorized several short surah's using English letters to say the Arabic sounds...this enabled me to begin praying in Arabic immediately but in hindsight I would have benefitted greatly had someone advised about the difficulties of having memorized and recited frequently with the incorrect pronunciation. It is like you have knitted a scarf but trying to wear it as a hat; I trust this helps new Muslims realize the time invested initially is better spent on learning the correct pronunciation of one or two surah's to use in prayer rather than like myself who eagerly memorized 7 and now have the frustration of unlearning and relearning... prayer concentration is difficult as you begin to correct yourself and you lose the memorized words, leaving you stuck while in prayer...it truly is difficult! I highly recommend this app and learning tajweed with programs like Qur'an Revolution!!
