Worse than his “WeGov” app

It’s all thumbs and games until you have to pay to save or continue. This isn’t a developer, it’s a person passionate about making turds. Look at his other apps.

UPDATE: I found out the "special" button means "add polkadots", which essentially makes the user feel sub-human.

Hmm

I love the patterns on this but there’s no option to save the patterns on your device as backgrounds. It would be so much better if that option was available. I would gladly pay to be able to do that.

Would be great if there was a one time fee for the app or for Unlimited Export… Greed always ruins a good thing

My purchased PDFs are still not credited on this app

My account has finally charged for 51 motifs(PDFs) on the IPad EasyPattern App. On the purchase page the small wheel in the upper right corner spun around in a circle for about 10 minutes but the purchases were never recorded. Does the developer still support this app? Apple please refund my money.

Great app …but...

This is a grade "A" app. My less than five star review is only because you can't do anything with it unless you buy credits. I don't want to belittle the amount of work that went into this app. And I think the developers should get compensated. I would gladly pay for this app to play around with.

But my problem is, since I do a lot of tinkering, I don't use my PDF credits and try to “save” them. So therefore I stop using your app and don't spend anymore money.
Being a developer myself, I think it would be better for both to get the money upfront and support continued development.

Then again, perhaps your business model is working? Regardless, is there someway I can purchase this app without always having to worry about credits? Thank you

Response from developer

Thanks for the review. You can save as many designs as desired and then when you want a vector art version you can get it for as little as 26 cents/ea. The price model is built on a Stock Vector pricing and is built on the time-saving value of creating such elaborate vector art. If it were an upfront fee then it would reduce the ability to try it out and we would have far fewer users and someone could set up a business selling thousands of designs themselves. It's a hard call but we know people like free the best!
