What's New in EatAWhale

1.0.8

September 9, 2026

Stickers now open the app. Bite links arrived last release. A link can now carry a second kind of address that opens EatAWhale instead of a browser, so tapping a printed code or an NFC sticker records the bite and then asks what you want to say about it. Your last five notes sit above the box, and the previous one can fill it in for you. Choose which kind a sticker gets when you make it, on the interest row, on the print sheet, or when you write a tag. The original silent link is unchanged and still records a bite in the browser without opening anything, which is what you want for an interest that keeps no notes. Tunes catches up. When a bite link advances your day without the app open, the phrases you would have heard are not lost. Open the app and it offers them back, playing from the start of the day.

User reviews

Excellent daily habit tracker

Ive been looking for a habit app like this forever. Its radically low stakes, straightforward, and engaging. I especially appreciate the playful design, like the random images and little musical tones. it helps to take things less seriously and the overall concept and philosophy really sets it apart. highly recommended
