Amazing

I’m very organized, I enjoy having places I’ve eaten marked down so I can remember if it was good and what was good if I were to ever go back years later. I love that it has the “to try” folder as well. The only thing I wish would be fixed is the searching of the restaurants, 8/10 times it works fine but that 2/10 it won’t have any record of the restaurant, but then you look for it on the map and it’s right there.

Fantastic for my usage

My wife and I are huge foodies. Most of my evenings are spent doomscrolling recipes or restaurants. I have not found a way to track the places I want to try that made sense to me till Eatlist. I enjoy the simplicity of the app and the ability to save all the places to try.

I have two suggestions, albeit they may be niche to me. There’s not many filtering options to choose. I’d like the ability to filter the “To Try” by city as well. You can sort by distance and there is also the map view; however, I list seeing this in list form.
I’d also like there to be some sort of “cuisine” type filter option or the ability to see the menu items you want to try at the restaurant.

I do appreciate the multiple visit logging and the menu items. My wife and I have repeatedly visited places and asked “what did you get last time”, now I have a way to answer that question!

Great idea. When it works.

I’ve been using the app for several years. Recently, I found that entries that I had added completely disappeared. super aggravating. What a waste of time.

Exactly what I needed

I needed some way to track what I ordered and from where. There are other apps that do this but they are too much on the social side, some even forcing you to add a pic just to log anything. This is simple and easy. My main complaint is if I want to edit the location, because there’s more than one and I selected the wrong one, I can’t change the address, just the restaurant name, city and country, forcing me to remove and search for it again.

Worst App

All entries are suddenly gone!

Perfect for keeping track of food

Stellar app that does exactly what I want it to. One minor edit would be the ability to rank your restaurants by rating as well as date added, last visit, etc.

Meal Entries constantly deleted

What a waste of time - I entered several meal entries and it keeps getting deleted. I wanted to like this, I want exactly this app without the crashing.

Lost all my data

The app lost all my data after I entered in over 100 restaurants. I sent them an email and no reply

Bester Restaurant-Tracker

Wer gerne auswärts essen geht wird diese App lieben, auch wenn sie leider nur auf Englisch verfügbar ist

I have an idea!

I actually just downloaded this today! I love this concept. However, I made my boyfriend download it as well, thinking we could synch our updates on restaurants etc...no can do. I shared my pics and review with him via text and nothing shows up on his phone in the same app. so ideally what I'm suggesting is that you guys use this app similar to like a Google sheet everything I update in real time my partner will be able to see on his phone instead of us Both logging very separate entries. Currently we use the app "notes" on our iPhone and everything we both enter from our own phones, we can each see. Simple.

I like the app but have suggestions!

Suggestions to:
- be able to add general notes about the restaurant
- give actual dishes 1-5 star ratings instead of thumbs up or thumbs down
- be able to look up a restaurant and see what other people have rated the dishes you wanted to try
- search for restaurants in your area based on Eatlist ratings; also to search for best specific dishes in your area- ie you want the best curry, what dish is rated the highest (not the restaurant)

Please incorporate these ideas and I’d love you app even more!!! 😁
Thanks!

For places to try

Need the ability to enter restaurants the search is unable to find. New restaurants may not be findable for weeks after opening.

Fantastic little tool

Fantastic little tool to extend the brain and better remember noteworthy restaurants

More features please

I like the app. I would like to be able to group a section of restaurants and title them, like: Sarasota 24 vacation. I would also like to see a calendar view where I can see the restaurants listed on the day. Like have the three restaurants I ate at in a day show up in that square, my breakfast lunch and dinner. Just my ideas

Missing a key thing

I like this app. My favorite part is the fact I can add a note directly on a menu item but, it’s really hard to do. The typing area is hidden behind Apple’s keyboard and once you “submit” the note you can’t edit it.

The biggest reason I can’t use this app is because there are no tags or categories to filter by. I want to be able to add multiple custom tags to a place like “patio, dog friendly, burgers, Japanese, speakeasy etc”

I also don’t care to leave a traditional star review or tag people I dined with. That does nothing for me.

Nice app, but please add a map for “To Try”

Love the simplicity of this app! However one thing that’s missing is the ability to view the places “To Try” on a map. It would be great if you could add that. Thank you!

Awesome - One Ask

Amazingly simple and clean app. Loving it.

For the developer: can you add a tags feature associated with adding a place so we can distinguish coffee shops from bars from restaurants?

Would love to keep count of these separately in their own respective cities.

Thanks for making a great app!

All the promise, none of the delivery

Giving this 3 stars because if it worked it would be exactly what I was looking for. The concept appeared to be wholly formed. Loved that I could add thumbs up/down to individual menu items in each restaurant.

I input my new fav sushi place and saved it. Then I added another place that’s okay but not great. It saved the second entry only. Thinking it was my error, re-added the first restaurant. Very deliberately saved it. Still not showing up in my restaurant list. Very disappointed.

Yes! Just what I’ve been looking for!!!

I always forget what I had at a restaurant before. Which dish was it? Did I like it? Would I order it again? Eatlist remembers for me!

It is user friendly and has just the features needed (no extra stuff that I will never use.)

Add a restaurant by searching. Rate your experience by date. Add a menu item with notes. Take a photo of your entry and add it to the menu item.

Awesome!

Well Designed

I have been looking for this type of app for a long time. Until now, I had settled on using SimpleNote to keep notes about places I’ve been, dishes I like (or don’t) and places I would like to try.

1) I would like the ability to tag restaurants, and create custom lists
2) I would like to have the ability to share an individual restaurant: send the name and address to a friend via text message.
3) I would like the ability to select a few restaurants and send the names via text message
