Nice its available but basically useless
Restaurants in PA are not given a simple to follow rating scale and it only show the latest ratings which is sometimes / most often a follow up inspection. So the restaurant has the opportunity to make address prior failures from the previous visit. E.g one local restaurant had 11 violations in their main inspection but then managed to get it to 2 in the followup 2 weeks later. Guess what the prior year they had 12 violations and sure enough in the follow up had 2. So at any given time its probably more likely to have 12/11 than 2 if they know the inspector is not showing up for another year. But the app only shows the result of the follow up ie 2. So is misleading at best. Until PA comes up with an actual

App doesn’t work
The app won’t search for restaurants by name making it useless
Works great!
I don’t know what the other reviews are talking about. I just got this app and it loads fine. Its style is outdated, but it’s definitely functional. The only thing I’d suggest is being able to search a place by phone number. It displays phone numbers, but you can’t search by them.

Great concept but very user unfriendly.
Great Concept
I just used this app for the first time. I have to say it is absolutely wonderful to have this information available in order to be able to make choices on where to eat. Hopefully all of the local, county inspection results will be added as well. I am very thankful we have people who work to keep restaurants accountable and maintain high standards. Maybe as a side effect restaurant owners will try harder to stay inspection ready since this info is now mainstream. Very useful app.

The search engine is terrible. I searched for restaurants I knew just to see the app works. It doesn’t if you search for a specific steakhouse it lists all the steakhouses in PA. It something you expect from the government

This app is worthless. I see a listing of violations on tv and then look for them on the app. NOT LISTED!! What good is a app that doesn’t list violations? I will be deleting this app.

The app works well for me. Lists all of the local restaurants and schools and has summary as well as full reports.

Good idea, not useful
I was excited by the concept and downloaded the app. It does not include local health dept inspections. And some things are not restaurants. The pins do not display names so you have to touch each one to figure out the facility name
All inspections should be included. I will be deleting for now.
