I have had an Ebit Trailcam for a year.
It’s buggy as much as their app.
It often has disconnected from the app so I have to reinstall it.
I am reading how others giving low ratings of the app about how hard it is to get it to work and see no responses from the company.
If “Made in China” means only poor quality products and services, how is that country going to survive economically?
They need to build better products and service.

Sound doesn’t download on videos
I’ve toggled many things and I can’t get the sound to download with the video.

Why is there ads on a product I’ve already paid for? I shouldn’t have to see an ad everytime I want to view my camera. That’s ridiculous.
It’s a bit quirky at times, but hey so am I!😛
I bought one of these cameras years ago, & have used it only a little here & there until the past few months or so where I set it up in my living room & while yes it did take a bit to figure out how to connect it, for the most part both the app and camera have been working great for me & I just use my own sd card for recording & watnot, also have not found there to be much if any lag on the notifications at all, which I like to turn on at night &/or when I go into my room and watch movies bc old buildings can make it feel like someone is in ur place when in fact it’s down the hall or just the pipes making noises so I really appreciate being able to check the feed anytime as it helps me feel more safe & secure which is really all I need in a “security” camera right? Haha
One thing I don’t like though is that the camera doesn’t seem to want to function properly in dark mode like at night with all the lights off so it just ends up repeatedly flickering & extremely pixelated, which then sets off the motion detector like crazy, so now I usually just leave my living room lamp on through the nite and it works totally fine on either mode that way, so I’d still say it was definitely worth the little I paid for it years ago! 😊
Next time I decide to buy another camera tho I’m for sure getting at least 1080p bc 720 just doesn’t allow you to close in too much to see details like I’d prefer.

App needs updating……Constantly disconnects
Bought in July worked great but last few weeks been having constant issues from constant disconnecting to my cam and memory showing images that are not mine !!! So if I can see someone else’s camera footage how am I supposed to feel safe knowing my footage is not secure . Again cam worked great up to these points but your servers are obviously struggling so please fix

It can be a struggle.
I have to close out every time I go to another app on my phone. If I don’t and I try to go back to it, it gives me a black screen or says network error. It didn’t use to do this but now it has for the past month.

does the base job, fails in many areas, like playing camera sound on your phone speakers instead of plugged in earbuds
As a toy, it is great. Not for serious thing.
It must be very close to wifi router or be connected via Ethernet to work. Video goes through router twice: to some remote server and back to you phone. So switch your phone on cellular data and turn wifi off. Thumbnails show not the motion event, but 15 seconds before. It’s hours to find event. Due to countles problems it kept me “entertained” lol. Now both cameras need to be restarted. Good for filming rats under deck. They survived two floodings!

Cloud storage - Very poor customer service
I recently purchased cloud storage. But when I try to download , it fails. Have written to support but looks like the mailbox is unmonitored. Feeling disgusted as the footage is now lost.
Total waste
Never guaranteed when it will work and if it will record on loop and when i needed it most ie going on holiday it’s gone off line even though all my other smart devices are working well so it’s not my Wi-Fi.

Perfect for homeowners
The app is working good, camera doesn’t need strong internet connection. I have 3 cameras and all working great. It would be nice if the device lost when you first open the app can show live camera instead of going in for each camera to see.
App does not work
Every time there is an iOS update this app doesn’t work. You can’t change your settings, cloud or anything. Developer please fix in a more timely fashion.

Useless app. Works when it wants. No reliable at all.
Unreliable
Worked great while in the house but the day we left it is sending motion alerts constantly and won’t let us connect, saying account not found but if we try to sign up again it says account exists. Password reset doesn’t work either. Just left with anxiety and a ruined holiday
Was working until now.
Keeps complaining that the network doesn’t exist, asking to check settings. I’ve verified the internet access and even replaced my router to no avail. Reinstalled the App and tried to setup another account. Is there another app that supports these devices?
