Where is My Book?
I love this app. I have found so many obscure and vintage books! I have found books I didn’t even know existed! I found short books for those 15 minutes you’re on coffee break. Love love this app.

Free, most books have been scanned with great quality, easy to open .pdf files via Acrobat, love the access and the ease of use

An App that can download the entire worldwide library to your device. Books, magazines, old children’s books, non-fiction, in all languages the book was published; the historical treasures this app and Project Gutenburg provide access to are of immeasurable value!

Gutenberg rival
This is an excellent and easy app for eBook search, download and read..so far, as good as Gutenberg which is almost blasphemy..I could be shot at dawn..but be aware, , like Gutenberg, most books written decades before total social enlightenment and some texts may contain offensive and hurtful material - e.g. racist and homophobic passages - which were tragically part and parcel of the accepted beliefs of those times..(Thank God not acceptable today!)

No updates in 2 years?
The Devs polished up the free version of this app last year, which is something at least. I really enjoy using this to find interesting books, so I hope they keep up with the current iPhone OS.
Easy access to old gems
I was able to find a free download of an obscure book, it took me less than two minutes! I searched in one database of free books, not there. Then I searched in another, and there it was! It was available in two versions, so I chose the Kindle version. No cost, no waiting for delivery!
Best of its kind…
With its suite of resources (Project Gutenberg and others) it throws the net wider than any other app I’m aware of and brings the biggest haul of ebooks for sale and, most especially, freebies from the public domain. Indispensable!
Perfect
Always been a favourite app of mine and the newer design is even better. Would and have recommended to everyone. Still a favourite ten or more years on.
Don’t bother with the paid version
I thought that this was going to be a good app and so I stupidly paid for the full ad free version, not a vast sum but if I wanted to waste money, I would throw it away in my local high street, whatever the finder should want to spend it on it would be more satisfactory than this app. I’ve just given up after over 20 times trying to download the free books and every attempt is greeted with, “unsuccessful “, no how’s and why’s, just one word. It’s not as if the title was obscure, “All Quiet on the Western Front” is a classic and there are untold copies on the app, but conveniently, none of the free versions will download. Of course, I could always buy it, but I won’t on principle, I paid for an app that can find free copies of more books than I could read in a lifetime. I shall seek the book on Amazon for kindle as there are always loads of free books to download.

Not only is this a valuable place to just come and find great books, but it’s legitimately a place to find great resources.
I have downloaded, no word of a lie, medical textbooks, (specifically for the sake of interest and information- not because I’m in school and super cheap 😛) I’ve downloaded legal documents and their reviews which have helped me understand specific issues I’ve faced. It’s like a goldmine.
Never close this beautiful, valuable, treasure trove. I’m on here all the time.
