I haven’t been able to access books I’ve purchased.

The app no longer works. I can’t view my downloaded books. Terrible app.

Why is this still an issue? Download text are not able to read.
Used to work
It used to work, although I found it cumbersome. Now I can't open any chapter. Has the book access expired? Perhaps, but nothing tells me that might be the case, or what I should do.

Cannot open books I’ve previously purchased. this would seem to encompass fraud. I dont see how you can call it anything else. I think a class action lawsuit is in order. I’ll look into it and see what the precedent is.
App doesn’t work for Elsevier
I cannot negatively rate an Inkling for my problem. Apparently this is an Elsevier issue where they changed platforms. Maybe all the poor reviewers should check with their publishers. THAT may be a solution for you as well.

Can’t read after downloading
No text after download
Books can’t be opened
It says downloaded and ready but can’t be opened.
Books won’t load
In iOS 18 tried to open chapters in downloaded books. Chapters won’t open.

This app is awful
This app is, without hyperbole, garbage. Everyone involved in the creation and design of this app should reevaluate their life choices. I have over 800 dollars worth of texts in this app - not by choice, they were assigned via various schools and training programs - and I can't access a single one. I've reinstalled the app. I've re-downloaded the books. I am stuck at a splash screen that says "X book is ready" but nothing happens when I hit the "start reading" button.
Last time this app was updated was 3 years ago, so I doubt any of these issues will be fixed. But if your school gives up a link to an inkling download, please do anything to trade it for something that's actually usable.

Doesn’t work well
The app never worked well.
The only reason I have been using it is for one ebook, I got as the digital copy of a one of my textbooks I use in my field.
However the app decided to stop loading the ebook pages now all together.
I cannot access anything in the book.
I now have to reorder the ebook at full cost $75, because this app is soo poorly put together and managed even worse.
Avoid this app at all costs, or it’s going to cost you.
