Teachers are great. The app? Not so much.
As others have said, it tends to be buggy and slow and not very well designed. The UX is generally poor or OK at best.
They just released an update, but it seems it was just updated with more ads/promotions.

Barely functional
Many of the eChineseLearning teachers are great, but the app (which, apart from the website, is the main tool for managing your classes) often doesn’t work.
Even when it does work, it tends to not work well. Definitely puts a damper on the experience.
Right now, I can’t manage my account through the app at all. It keeps saying there are connection or network issues, even though everything else works just fine (i.e., it’s not actually a network issue). It’s just a lousy app.

Great teachers, bad app
The calendar sync feature is a little buggy. I sync and resync your calendar if the changes aren’t showing up. There is also a super annoying pop up that you can move around the screen but can’t get dismiss for “get a free lesson” where they’re trying to get you to make a poster and advertise for them. The teachers in this program are great but the app is not made to be user-friendly.
