About
Pip is a tiny, hungry bat, and the night is completely dark. You can't see a thing. You can only see what your sound shows you.
SOUND IS YOUR LIGHT
Tap to click. A glowing ring of sound spreads through the dark, and whatever it touches lights up when the echo comes back. Close walls appear at once; far ones appear later. Then the dark returns, and you fly on with only a faint memory of what you saw.
REAL ECHOES
Sound bounces off walls and around corners. Moss swallows it. Still water turns into a perfect mirror. Moths flying toward you glow blue, and moths flying away glow red. Short clicks are sharp; long calls reach far but blur. Everything follows the real physics of echolocation.
MOTHS THAT FIGHT BACK
Catch real moth species with real tricks. Some hear your long calls and dive. Tiger moths click back to jam your sonar. Luna moths' spinning tails make a fake echo. And watch out for owls: you can't see them until they move, but they can hear every click you make.
FIVE WORLDS, 60 NIGHTS
Fly through a home cave, a moonless forest, an old cathedral full of bells, rainy rooftops and a noisy festival night. Get home before sunrise, and at dawn the whole place is finally revealed in colour.
ECHO PUZZLES
Forty calm deduction puzzles. Pip hangs still with a few calls. Which tunnel leads outside? Where is the hidden moth?
MOTH BOOK AND DAILY FLIGHT
Fill a field guide of 16 real moths. A new cave every day, the same for every player, with your streak on the home screen widget.
Best with headphones. No account. No ads. No in-app purchases.
