I just got a fitbit 5 charge to pair with my Nordictrak/ifit treadmill system, just to have the heart monitor show on the screen while I work out. It was not possible to pair the two systems, so downloaded Echo for fitbit smartwatches to try again. Following directions did not result in pairing the heart beat monitor with the ifit app or the nordic trak…really bad directions, plus too many apps to coordinate on my phone.

The first line in the app description clearly says this app works with Fitbit SENSE or VERSA 3 Smartwatch. That might have been the first clue that this app does not work with the FitBit Charge 5. Sorry you wasted your time.
