You choose when to start, select Echo Live, and iOS shows the standard broadcast prompt. Echo turns the audio or screen text you choose into captions. Around Me uses the microphone. Some apps or protected content may block or mute capture; Echo doesn't bypass DRM or platform protections, so availability varies by app. ECHO UNLIMITED Echo includes a free daily translation allowance. Echo Unlimited is an optional monthly auto-renewable subscription that removes the daily limit and unlocks unlimited translation across supported modes and languages.
