A brand-new workout summary • Stats that match your sport — pace and heart rate lead for runs, top speed for rides, elevation for hikes. • Heart rate graph — see how your effort changed through the workout, along with your max heart rate. • Richer splits — each split now shows heart rate and elevation change alongside pace. • Elevation profile — take in the climbs and descents at a glance. • New stats that weren't shown before, including steps for walks and top speed for rides. Voice guidance no longer stops your music • Music now dips briefly during an announcement and returns to full volume right after. • A new "Voice guidance" section in Settings lets you turn split and weather announcements on or off, adjust volume and speaking rate, and preview them instantly. • Announcements keep playing with the screen off. While you're moving • A new metrics-only mode hides the map for a bigger, simpler display — and uses less battery. • Your distance so far is always visible. • Check GPS signal strength at the top right. • See what's playing and control playback from the start screen (Apple Music). Your history • Workouts are now grouped by month, so it's faster to find the day you're looking for. • Swipe to delete, with undo if you change your mind. • You can also delete a workout from its detail screen. Accessibility • Support for system text size settings. • Reduce Motion is now respected. • Improved VoiceOver labels. Fixes • Fixed GPS distance being recorded shorter than the actual distance. • Fixed the bottom of the history list being cut off. • Average cadence is now recorded even without an Apple Watch.
