User reviews

Calculator Missing!

Best Part was the Calc included - just in case Your echo machine isn‘t calculating because you aquired a value in the wrong pattern…
Without Calc Not very helpful for exp. users because normal values and Their margins are known….

Calculator removed

I used and loved this app - but since the last update the calculator has been removed. Please get it back - then I‘d gladly give you 5 stars!

MD2022b

Like others have mentioned before me, the removal of the calculator function has dramatically reduced the utility of this ap. I would have rated it 5/5 before the update. I hope efforts are being put in to get regulatory approval to return the calculator functions.

No more calculator

Removed the calculator on the last version. The calculator was highly useful, was used daily.

Calculations removed

Since the latest update, all the calculations tabs have been removed

For example it is no longer possible to calculate an Aortic Stenosis with LVOT diameter, VTI values etc.

You will only find an BMI calculator there…

Do not update!

FAQ

What kind of data does EchoCalc provide?

EchoCalc provides access to key echocardiography reference data commonly used in clinical practice. This includes measurements for LV/RV size and function, LV mass, aortic and atrial dimensions, diastolic function, and reference data for prosthetic aortic and mitral valves.

What are the topic guides and guidelines in EchoCalc?

The app features topic guides with how-to explanations on measuring and interpreting echo data. It also provides a mobile-friendly version of recent BSE guidelines covering various echocardiographic studies and indications, such as Standard TTE/TOE studies, valvular heart disease, and more.

Can I switch between different reference standards?

Yes, the app is updated to the latest BSE reference data but also allows users to switch to ASE/EACVI references. This flexibility ensures compatibility with different clinical practices and regional standards.

Is EchoCalc compatible with my device?

While specific OS compatibility is not detailed, the app is designed for mobile use. It is likely compatible with most modern iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, offering a mobile-friendly experience for accessing reference data.

How is EchoCalc monetized?

EchoCalc is available for free, but it includes in-app purchases. This model suggests that while core functionality may be free, certain premium features, additional data, or advanced guideline access might require a purchase.
