Honestly great app
Great app but there’s one flaw that I don’t like it’s the tornado warning I hate when I have to click on the warning and scroll to see if it’s radar indicated or actually on the ground. So I think that if it’s on the ground it could be a different color

Hi Picklethechicken, Thanks for the review! We’ll look into that and think about the best way to address it. Thanks, The Echoes Team
Can’t believe this exists
This app is the most thorough weather data application I’ve found for a cell phone. It includes model data, satellite imagery, high resolution radar.
Inaccurate derived products
Derived products are misleading, though the rest of this app is great
Response from developer
Hi! Thank you very much for the feedback, and I’m glad you’re enjoying the rest of the app! The hydrometeor classification products you’re likely referring to are notorious for appearing inaccurate, and it comes down to the underlying NWS dual-pol algorithm rather than how the app displays it. The accuracy degrades as the beam travels farther from the radar, and the melting layer can produce inconsistent results at any range. Because of this, I’d recommend the precipitation type product for everyday use, unless you have a specialized case that calls for the raw classification. Thanks, The Echoes Team
Offers way more features for the price
Seriously don’t know of another app that has this generous of a freemium model and such a low subscription price point. The devs are also constantly shipping new features. The free tier is more than enough for the casual observer
Best radar out there
This application is perfect for those who want quick and reliable weather information, but it also uniquely provides low level radar data. You would give yourself a hard time trying to find a metric or feature that this application doesn’t provide, especially with the extremely well priced in app purchases.
