Fails to connect
Most of the time it fails to connect. My desktop app works everytime but this thing is mostly broken.
Wonderful System
Hams can spend thousands of dollars on Ham Gear or just download this App and talk to other Worldwide Hams.๐
Great for ham travelers
Great way for amateur hams to stay in touch while away from home town turf. No RF radio required. Or for hams who want to listen to repeaters anywhere in the world! Pretty basic user interface but it works. Need to get used to waiting for 3 seconds after push to talk which is Normal for digital radios.

Una pena q no permita sysop que sea tan bรกsico ya q en windows tiene todas las funciones y me permite hacer todo lo q necesito, pero en mi Mac no puedo hacerlo.
Amazing App
I truly love that EchoLink allows licensed amateur radio hobbyists to find new ways to communicate. The app is fun, but takes a bit of clicking around and experimenting to get the hang of it. Is there room for improvement? Sure, but for an app that cost me nothing, I am beyond satisfied!
EchoLink does not work
I cannot find my favorites. I cannot get echo test to work. I see this useless map along with boxes that might have stations in them, but I canโt get them to work. I am going to return to my android version as that works!. If I could get anything to work on this app, it would be a miracle. I would give this zero stars if I could. I am shocked with what the developers have done with the Apple version of this EchoLink. Fix it!!!

Not working on ios26 iPhone pro max
Doesnโt seem to be working on my phone, I enter call sign, password, and email. I click on login and nothing happens.
Mic gain
I deleted the app to see if I had any control of mic gain. It was at +6db before i deleted it. After reloading it the value went down to 0db. Why donโt we have any control over it in the app?
One complaint
I really like this app because of its portability on the iPhone or android devices. However, there is a problem with the iPadOS edition. The biggest problem Iโve been having today is adjusting the microphone volume. When I go to access that, it will not open up. There is something wrong with that particular setting. Any reply would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the app.

Great tool for Hams
I like to dabble in digital modes from time to time and if youโre a licenced ham, this is a great resource. Works great on iPhone!
Network Error
It keeps giving the following error. It is fixed when I delete and reinstall the app. But it starts giving the same error again: โNetwork Problem

Bad update
Just updated EchoLink to find that itโs now stuttering all the time. Seems there must be some issue going on. Itโs not my side thatโs at fault, all other similar apps are working fine.
Excellent System
The 2.2 rating is not appropriate. It should be in the 4.8 range. Iโve be using the system for over 10 years. Itโs the only system that can be used on a PC, tablet and IOS and Android Phones. Itโs used by hundreds of thousand hams worldwide. Hans can also connect nodes via IRLP and AllStar Link. The audio is outstanding. The only issue is with the latest 2.20 version. I canโt adjust the microphone boost. Other that this the app works flawlessly.

Upgrade has issues
After the upgrade there are connection issues. Please fix.
No support for passwords longer than 14 characters
This makes the app literally unusable for most people.
As you can see by the developer response, they donโt have any helpful answer to this.
In an email they told me that this is to prevent incompatibilities between other versions of the app; which ignores the inherent incompatibility this actively creates: you can set a password >14 characters on desktop, which is apparently incompatible everywhere else.
They told me that this is to avoid breaking compatibility of the app between legacy platforms, which implies this limit is actually arbitrary in the case of the modern iOS app.
Hereโs my question: Why not allow it, but warn users entering a password >14 characters that it will be incompatible elsewhere? And if itโs more complicated than that, why not just say that?

Latest version (2.19) could use some improvement
This release sorts Favorites alphabetically, instead of the order I had before, and does not allow the user to move favorites up and down the list as desired. Please bring back that capability.
