About

The total solar eclipse of 2 August 2027 — the longest totality on land this century, 6 minutes 23 seconds near Luxor — with your own local times, a map that shows where to stand, a timeline with reminders, and the camera settings for the day. Everything is computed on your phone from NASA's published elements and verified against 55 cities to the second. YOUR SKY Your location or any of 55 cities: in the path or not, first contact to last in your own clock, magnitude, obscuration, the Sun's height at maximum, and a live countdown. The corona disc shows the phase as it happens. THE PATH, WITH YOU ON IT The band of totality drawn on a map from the same elements, the centerline, the point of longest totality, and your pin. Drag it: "38 km NNE to the centerline, 6m 23s there, +2m 40s on what you'd get here." If you're outside the path, how far and which way. TIMELINE Every contact — C1, C2, maximum, C3, C4 — with the Sun's height and direction at each, the totality span, and a reminder toggle per contact. The one alert that always fires, exactly at third contact: glasses back on. CAMERA A starting exposure for the partial phases through a certified solar filter, and a bracket for totality by feature — Baily's beads and the diamond ring, prominences, the inner corona, the outer corona — at your ISO and aperture. How big the Sun is in your frame at your focal length. WHERE Pick a city, drop a pin on the path, or use your exact location. Share your local plan as a card. SAFETY Never look at the partially eclipsed Sun without an ISO 12312-2 filter. Only during totality, only inside the path, from C2 to C3. The app says so where it matters and sets the alarm for C3. Offline except the map's base tiles. No account, no subscription, bought once.

3.0

September 13, 2026

3.0 — stand in the right place: • The path on a map, with your pin: distance and bearing to the centerline, totality there and here; drag to plan where to stand • Timeline: every contact with the Sun's position, and a reminder per contact — the "glasses back on" alert at C3 always fires • Camera: partial-phase and totality exposures at your ISO, aperture and focal length • Share your local plan as a card • A Settings tab, light mode, and sentence-case throughout • Times unchanged and still verified to the second
