After using this app for about a year, I’ve become increasingly disappointed with how it’s managed. During that time, there have been multiple changes in administrators, and the rules, expectations, and enforcement have been inconsistent. Although updated community guidance was published in May 2026, my experience has been that moderation remains unpredictable and lacks transparency. Concerns about inconsistent enforcement are often dismissed as “causing drama,” and users may be threatened with suspension or bans for raising them. In my experience, long-time users appear to receive more favorable treatment than newer members.
While the app contains public, PG-rated chat rooms, much of the activity takes place in private XXX rooms. In those private spaces, I have observed extreme sexually explicit text, images, voice messages, and other NSFW content being shared despite the app’s stated policies. I have also seen administrators and long-time users participating in or encouraging that environment. Because private rooms cannot be reported through the app, and urls are masked, app admins have their own rooms even… and there is little accountability for what occurs there as well as no Terms of Service Round it.
I also found it concerning that payments for avatars and profile enhancements are handled through Venmo rather than the App Store’s payment system.
Based on my experience, the app presented itself as a general social chat platform, but the toxic community culture and moderation did not match those expectations. It’s a NSFW friends club masking as a chat app.

Very evil app
To put this simply because I have the freedom of speech to express my experiences with this app. I was bullied constantly and mocked at for being a Christian. A person told me to off myself with people laughing in the room. It’s was terrible. This is a warning to all believers in Christ, and others also. The admins don’t care if you’re bullied for being who you are. I’ve mentioned it and they accuse me of libelous comments. it’s not libel if you mention a problem and report it. Meanwhile they brush aside the issue of bullying and how serious it is. They don’t take to be serious they contradict their own rules on there. Obviously you can tell by their indifference attitude. Also their lack of empathy and compassion towards those being bullied. By their actions it really shows. I’ve deleted my account and want nothing to do with this app.

Pedo app
This app is infested with chomos. They are comfortable enough to message complete strangers to talk about having relations with kids. Admin does nothing about it. I’ve reported this app for supporting these violations against children. According to other users on the platform, even the admins have been caught messaging weird stuff to users. Avoid this app

This app is disgusting. Other apps have been taken down from the App Store for less. Not only is there a clique atmosphere that acts like being there all day is a claim to fame, but almost every private room is filled sex. You can’t have conversations or honest conversations because everyone is too afraid of losing their “friends”. The lack of transparency and false advertisement from others of being “different” than Anti (it’s really not. Same toxic people. Same lack of critical thinking), makes the enjoyment of being there worse. Same unwelcoming welcome room behavior and same trolls that have friends in high places so it’s all good. You can threaten lives and wish the worst for people with the right connections. If you enjoy fake individuals and small talk about things you could not care less about, sign up today!If you appreciate your brain cells and possibly your soul, avoid this app. Your sanity will also thank you. When you download the app you get pre-placed in groups which youll see is like the same 20 people moving between 4-5 rooms, chatting with each other. Trying to chat with people and break into that was unsuccessful… no one seemed to want to chat with anyone but that clique. Half of the groups are just people talking about sex anyway. The other half of the groups are just rules and app updates??. It’s confusing to navigate and the only two people that reached out were trying to sext. What’s the point of the welcome group? It’s 5 people talking about boobs and sex… I wasn’t aware this app was for 12 year old boys

If you don’t spend money you do not matter here
I raised concerns about doxxing and community safety directly to the app owner and was told I was “nobody” and that he didn’t care if people left the app. That response alone told me everything I needed to know. In my experience, this app does not support its community and seems far more concerned with paying users than the safety and well-being of everyone else.

I never demanded anything. I messaged Boss because another user wanted to leave after their issue wasn't handled properly despite providing valid proof. I urged him to care more about his community. The way he responded was unprofessional and only validated my concern that he did not care, or want to care, about the community. I chose to leave the app on my own afterward. I have screenshots proving that nothing I said was a demand.

Awful moderators
The mods abuse their power and the owner doesn’t care. There’s zero accountability and the people that remain are bots and lackeys of the crew running the show and they make the overall environment a depressing place to be. Avoid it at all costs.
Boring and kinda creepy
Nothing against the developer but a lot against the environment on that app, maybe because of the people that came from anti last year. I know for a fact many of these 5 star reviewers from the past year were given stars (in app currency) in exchange for their review. Though there are some cool people (or were at least) there is now nothing there but a couple dozen chronically online folks that fight and gossip and bully each other like teenagers. All the rooms are censored by power hungry “mods” that aren’t the app mods, just people that were given permission to open rooms, and they ban and unban and monitor and threaten each other freely. It’s a disaster and even the drop rooms rarely have drops anymore. Kinda sad, even for what it is. My recommendation to the developer and app authorities is to remove the individuals that have caused so many people to leave. I believe they have or had bows in their names. It’s just such obvious bullying and sad to watch, and everyone who said something got silenced and were banned or mysteriously left, so I’ve kept quiet.

A lot of user moved from AntiLand when they could no longer have an app in the Apple store. There are a lot of wonderful people on there. But the app has quickly declined. I’m not sure it’s because of the moderators becoming more and more strict or what it is. I go there occasionally to waste time.

Absolutely brilliant
This may sound like a paid or ai app review but I assure you it is not.
This app is absolutely amazing bright colourful and slick extremely well made and constantly being improved and polished it is a testament to the dev and his skills and the admins on the app are real people who interact with the users and they also do a fantastic job at managing the groups and keeping bots and trolls away they are extremely nice helpful people and I consider them as much as friends as anyone else on the app I feel safe and comfortable and I have met so many wonderful people who are supportive and kind I cannot recommend eclipse enough!
