Can’t get passed security login
Several for times, I am unable to enter the OPT, which is a security procedure. I deleted and reinstalled the app several times still cannot enter OPT. Therefore, it means I cannot use the app.
Doesn’t work without data even if you are using an Econet sim
This EcoCash app is honestly super buggy and frustrating to use. It crashes, lags and sometimes just doesn’t respond properly when you need it most. What’s even worse is that you need mobile data for it to work if you don’t have data, the app is basically useless.
That makes no sense, especially considering it’s tied to an Econet SIM. Services like this should work without requiring users to buy data every time they want to access their money. It defeats the whole purpose of convenience.
Overall, really disappointing experience. It needs serious improvement.

Email option needed
This application needs to have an email option I’m struggling to access it because I’m outside of the country and it needs an otp now for it to open

You can not fill in OTP once sent. Failing to log as OTP field is non responsive.

The app must allow users to add cents to a transaction. We cannot add cents when sending money on ioS just round figures
Nonsense
Constantly needs to be updated and bars one from using the app if you find yourself on a lower version - that’s so inconvenient. Furthermore, it has a whole tab for an NFC feature that it says iOS is incapable of supporting… why bother including it in the app at all then? Absolutely nonsensical

This is a scam app. I deposited my money and it didn’t reflect. Tried to contact support but they are not helpful. Stay away from this app

This application must evolve with time. There should be an option to use email for otp . I struggled to reset the app when i was outside the country. Ecocash please do better!
Happy with the service
This helps me a lot I m in the diaspora I can send money to my diaspora account and switch it to my main account to pay my bills and other expenses remotely, I can also receive money and monitor my finances without being home

Problem with the diaspora
I sent money via the diaspora service and it’s not working well because l sent 13 and l can see 4 in my account. I went to the customer support for help and they are not responsive. I think you need to improve on that. Cause I’m now afraid to send a lot of money because I never know maybe it might arrive halved. We have to see all your charges not just charging from the blue and it doesn’t even make sense 13 and l receive 4 so what am l working for, look at that please.

Log in challenges
I am new to Ecocash. I downloaded the app, and up until now it just keeps saying an OTP has been sent, but the SMS never comes. I phoned the helpline, and I didn’t get real time assistance, except “ we have escalated your query “.

Not all EcoCash USSD options are available on the application e.g. one can’t buy a thirty dollar cents ($0.30) data bundle for 1 hour on the app.
Looking up contacts should use the phone’s built-in contacts lookup just as the YoMix App does and the old EcoCash App used to. The current Contacts lookup is a buggy invented wheel e.g. it fails to look up a contact that has 3 names like Nyasha Ian Jones, as soon as the middle name is Ian is being typed in.

New Update
New enhanced features look promising in making the app more functional and providing better service. More can still be done to improve the wallet and make it seamless in transacting.
